Disney’s Contemporary Resort is undergoing a big refurbishment at the moment.
The construction began in April on several rooms in the Main Tower. And we just found out that those rooms are getting an Incredibles makeover! We also found out what’s going on with The Wave… of American Flavors, the resort’s lobby restaurant.
Disney announced previously that The Wave would be closing on July 16th for a refurbishment and would be unavailable throughout the summer so they could work on the space in time for Disney World’s big 50th anniversary.
Today, Disney said that the restaurant “will also soon close to make way for a reimagined dining experience in time for the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary celebration.”
This means the restaurant is not simply being updated, but is most likely getting a whole new theme!
We do not yet know what the new theming could be, but we’ll let you know as soon as we do, so stay tuned to AllEars.
