Physical distancing has changed a lot in Disney World over the past few weeks.

We’ve seen shows increase capacity by removing some distancing measures, and plexiglass has been removed from Tower of Terror. Now, Rise of the Resistance received some physical distancing changes.
When we went to ride Rise of the Resistance tonight, we noticed something was different from the first part of the attraction.

In the pre-show room with BB8 and Rey, the distancing dots have been removed. Before, these kept groups of guests separate and physically distanced.

Tonight, however, Cast Members were telling guests to keep moving in to fill up all of the available space.

After the pre-show, we headed to the transfer ship where we noticed a big change here too — there was no plexiglass or dots on the ground.

Guests filled up the ship, and took a spot wherever there was room.

From there on through the end of the attraction, the health and safety measures appeared to stay the same. There were still colored dots in the First Order ship…

…and plexiglass remained on the ride vehicles.

We could see more changes to physical distancing in the near future on Disney World attractions, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated with the latest on that. Stay tuned to AllEars!
