The day has finally come and we are BACK in Disneyland Resort for its official reopening day!
Over 45 Disneyland rides reopened today, so we’ve been pretty busy! But, we couldn’t help but notice one popular Disneyland attraction that has NOT reopened with the park.
We got our first hint that the laugh-filled boat ride — Jungle Cruise — wouldn’t be reopening with the park when we noticed that it wasn’t included in the list of reopening attractions, which was further confirmed when Disney revealed it would not be reopening until this summer.
There’s a sign out in front of the ride telling guests that it’s currently closed and asking them to visit another Adventureland attraction. In the meantime, the queue space is being used as an extended queue for Indiana Jones Adventure. Disney is currently in the process of updating Jungle Cruise at both Disneyland and Disney World.
Once complete, the storyline will include new characters, scenes, and even more cheesy dad jokes. And, we can’t wait to laugh at some new jokes (though, the current ones never get old). The Disneyland version of the ride is expected to reopen this summer, so stay tuned for more details!
