Disney World can be a great place to celebrate life’s milestones!

Of course, there’s the excitement of meeting your favorite Disney characters, riding your favorite rides, and experiencing all that the parks have to offer — but, Disney also often goes above and beyond to celebrate with guests. When you’re wearing one of Disney’s celebrate buttons you’re sure to get a few well wishes from Cast Members (and maybe even something free) and you can even order full cakes for you and your family to share! But, this Disney perk just got more expensive.
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cakes are full-sized Mickey-shaped cakes that can be ordered at any Disney World Resort hotel restaurant to add something sweet to your celebrations. Previously these cakes have cost $35 plus tax and gratuity, but the price has been increased and they now cost $39 plus tax and gratuity.

These cakes are meant to be shared and serve 4 to 6 people. And, you’ll have two choices of flavor (chocolate or white chocolate cake) and you can add a special message, such as “Happy Birthday,” “Happy Anniversary,” or “Congratulations” on the ears.

So, now you’ll be spending a little bit extra if you’re planning to celebrate a milestone with the Mickey Mouse cake. To order, you can call 407-WDW-DINE or you can Mobile Order at select Disney World Resort hotels through the My Disney Experience app. And, as always, stay tuned for more Disney news and updates!

Is it me, or do these “celebration cakes” look small? They almost look like finger foods? Maybe it is just the picture, but I would find it very difficult to feed 6?
