This morning we told you about several ways we enjoy starting our day at Walt Disney World, but now it’s time to call it a night!
After a day in the parks, you might not be ready for the fun to end! Maybe you’ve spent all day riding your favorite attractions, trying new snacks, and meeting characters from afar. But where do you go after the park closes?

Lucky for you, Disney offers lots to do in the evenings — and you don’t even need a park ticket!
Here are some of our favorite things to do after a long day at Disney World.
Disney Springs
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar
Grab a drink in Disney Springs at Jock Lindsey’s, an airport hangar turned bar. The unique theme follows the adventures of Indiana Jones’ pilot from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

There’s bar food, unique drinks, and lots of hidden Easter eggs that reference the Indiana Jones films! Plus, for the holidays, a seasonal makeover transforms the restaurant into Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar.

Wine Bar George
This wine bar features over 100 selections by the bottle and glass. There are also shareable plates, cheese, and charcuterie!

The estate-style bar is a Disney Springs must-do! It has a laid-back atmosphere that makes it perfect for relaxing after a long day in the park. And if you’re looking to make reservations for this spot during the day, it offers brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

Watching the Electrical Water Pageant
The Electrical Water Pageant returned to Disney World in December 2020 for the first time since the parks’ reopening. The 15-minute show features 14 illuminated barges paired with some pretty catchy music! It currently starts at 7:30PM Monday-Thursday and at 8:30PM Friday-Sunday. Of course, that time varies depending on where on the route you’re watching, so be sure to check with your resort for a specific time!

You can watch it from any of the Magic Kingdom resorts: Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, or Disney’s Contemporary Resort. If you’re watching from the Polynesian, don’t forget to grab a Dole Whip from Pineapple Lanai to eat while you watch!

Resort Lounges
California Grill
Resort lounges are a great option for a relaxing evening! One of our favorites is California Grill. It’s located on the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, so you’ll have a stunning view of Seven Seas Lagoon and Cinderella Castle.

The lounge serves the same menu of American food, seafood, and sushi as the restaurant — but you don’t need a reservation! It’s first-come, first-serve seating.

Topolino’s Terrace
Topolino’s Terrace is known for its character Breakfast a la Art (with Mickey and friends!) and its Riviera-inspired dinner. But did you know there’s also a lounge?

The restaurant is on the top floor of Disney’s Riviera Resort and offers a sweeping view from its terrace. Like at California Grill, you can walk straight up to this lounge (no reservations needed) and have access to the full dinner menu. There’s also some great specialty sips!

Enchanted Rose
Enchanted Rose is a reimagined lounge in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort themed after the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast! You can spot many Beauty and the Beast-inspired touches here, like decorations that represent Mrs. Potts and Lumiere.

There are three themed rooms to enjoy light dishes or specialty cocktails: a ballroom, library, and garden room. There’s also an outdoor patio based on the Beast’s terrace!

At Your Resort…In Bed
There’s nothing quite like ending the day in bed, snacking on your leftovers and watching the WDW Today Channel.

After all, after a long day in the parks, you have to recharge so you have plenty of energy to conquer your next day in Disney!
