A lot of thought and time goes into every single decision that Disney World makes, and long before any new policies are enacted (or benefits are taken away), the resort sends out surveys to guests.
In the last year, we’ve seen surveys about crowds, health and safety measures, discontinued experiences and more.
Disney will send out surveys about every little thing and to every kind of resort guest. Recently, Disney sent out a survey asking about resort hotel stays!
The first thing Disney asked was pretty standard, asking the main reason for your trip!
They also asked generally how guests felt about the health and safety measures in place and how easy being socially distanced was, how reassuring face coverings were, and if there were enough hand washing and sanitizing stations.
Disney seemed especially interested in how “reassuring” things felt to guests, including face coverings worn by others and the Pre-Arrival Health Acknowledgment all guests must read before checking in. Disney also wanted to know how its “Know Before You Go” communication, sent via email is. These emails include information about operating hours, PhotoPass, and health and safety measures.
They also wanted to know generally if guests feel like the health and safety procedures are just right, too much, or too little.
Sometimes, the questions are vague like the ones above, and sometimes they get really specific, like when Disney asked about character experiences at the hotel and the ability to use different aspects of My Disney Experience, like mobile ordering, the Digital Room Key and the in-app chat feature to talk to Cast Members.
Those are expected. But, sometimes, Disney sends a curveball, asking what virtual experiences guests are interested in. We’d love to know what Pokemon Go has to do with Disney!
You never can really know what Disney is trying to get at with these surveys, but the company always seems to be analyzing its health and safety measures, technology, and guest experiences. And when any of those things change, we’ll be sure to let you know!
These Disney World Hotels Will Look VERY Different Soon!

Have you ever taken a Disney guest survey? Let us know your experiences in the comments.
We definitely play pokemon go while at Disney! It passes the time while we are in lines. We played some of the play disney games, but pokemon go has more depth.
It would be nice if they dropped the masks outside rule. Masks should only be required indoors as it is in most states. Disney could sell a ton of mask cords.
Yes! I completely agree.
I no longer fill out the Disney Surveys. It would be fine if they limit it to 15-20 questions. the surveys sometimes have 75 or more questions, each with 10-12 possible answers. The questions become repetitive and redundant.
This was my first Disney survey. Regarding health and safety, my family felt safe on our trip for spring break; however, feel there is a list more room for improvement. Comparing Universal (we went in December) to Disney, we felt safer at Universal. We loved that they had people walking the park with mask signs. They were everywhere. Disney didn’t have that and we counted only 4 watering stations in the 3 parks that we went to. Overall, as I said above, we felt safe and are looking forward to our next trip in May.
I’m more interested in what Disney would do with something g like Meow Wolf!
I play Pokémon Go! Disney World is a great place to play the game! Disney World is loaded with Pokémon and other items used to play the game. It’s a great way to pass time while in line or waiting for shows
