The Most Relaxing Ride at Each Walt Disney World Park

Walt Disney World is a place for the young and the young at heart… and also the ones who sometimes just want a break from the mountains so they can relax.

We’ve all been there.

If you’re looking for the chillest rides in each park, we’ve got the list for you. So sit back, prop your legs up, and get ready for some serotonin.

These are the most relaxing rides in each Disney World park!

Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover

Magic Kingdom has a ton of contenders for this spot, but we had to give it to one of our all-time favorites. The Peoplemover is synonymous with easy and relaxing, from riding the moving walkway up to the station to the approximately ten minute journey around Tomorrowland.

Perfect place to cozy up after a rope drop

Added bonus: the Peoplemover also allows you to get some really cool shots of Tomorrowland from a bird’s-eye view if your photo finger is quick enough. If your feet are killing you from all the steps you’ve been taking around the park, the Peoplemover is a no-brainer for your next ride.

Living with the Land

Living with the Land is such a breath of fresh air…literally. In a park dominated by Test Track, Mission: SPACE, and Soarin’ (which also could have gone in this spot, save for a few surprising transitions), Living with the Land allows you to sit in a slow-moving boat and absorb the smells and sights of nature.

Smells like…wet dog? Who let Pluto in the greenhouse again?!

You just get to sit back and let the edutainment come to you. The only problem you might have after this ride is dealing with the munchies after hearing about food for nearly fifteen minutes.

Slinky Dog Dash

It was really hard to pick a ride specifically for this list from Hollywood Studios, the theme park equivalent of chugging Red Bull. We don’t know about you, but when we hear the words Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster we don’t normally think “relaxing”.

Slinky Dog Dash

Slinky Dog Dash is not really the low-energy ride we wanted for this list, but it is the one most likely to elicit those happy chemicals. Everyone can enjoy this ride, from little ones whose first words were “Mickey Mouse” to those who were alive when the big cheese himself was first drawn.

Na’vi River Journey

What’s better than one boat ride in the list? Two boat rides! Na’vi River Journey might actually be more relaxing than Living with the Land because you don’t have to deal with any pesky education about where your food comes from.

Pfff, who needs to learn when we got beautiful bioluminescent sets

The ambiance of your journey through Pandora’s ecosystem is kind of like stepping into your own lo-fi music playlist. The slow pacing of the ride allows you to soak up all the colorful foliage and sounds of nature in a park that’s already pretty chill.
