IT’S BACK! Park Hopping Returns to Disney World Today!

We’ve been missing those days when we could visit Magic Kingdom in the morning before making a trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the afternoon!

However, today is a VERY exciting day in Disney World because Park Hopping is back again for guests heading to the parks! This modified Park Hopping system is different than what we’re used to, but we’re on-site in Disney World today to try it out for ourselves and give our full report.

There are a few major caveats to Park Hopping that guests need to be aware of before attempting it. First, you’re still required to have a park ticket or Annual Pass with Park Hopper benefits.

Guests are also only allowed to hop during Park Hopper hours, which are listed on Disney World’s website. Currently, Park Hopper hours begin for all parks at 2PM, so you cannot enter a second Disney park until that time.

Also, everyone is required to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park they plan to visit. You must scan your ticket at that park before hopping to another park.

We’re testing it out today, and we’ll make sure to keep you updated as we go along. We’ll be sharing all the details here on AllEars, so stay tuned!

  1. We used to buy park hoppers but, as we got older, it got more physically challenging to do more than a single park. After being at Disney 30+ times, you learn some things about your self and being in that space. Listen . . . and then decide.
