Although we can’t run up and hug our favorite characters right now, we’ll gladly settle for a smile and a wave!
The socially distant meet and greets at Disney World are giving us all the feels these days, and we spotted a character in a new spot at Magic Kingdom today!
Since reopening in July, character experiences at Disney World have been more than a little different.
To meet social distancing standards and adhere to safety mandates, guests can’t *actually* meet their favorite characters up close, but that doesn’t mean waving and smiling from afar isn’t out of the picture!
After all, in the era of face masks, it’s exciting to see a character smile! And smiling is exactly what we were doing when we spotted a beloved Disney princess at a new spot at Magic Kingdom!
Twirling her signature mile-long braid and pink dress, it appears Rapunzel has taken up residence in the entrance of Princess Fairytale Hall! It might be fall, but her floral-filled ensemble — including petals in her braid — is giving us warm spring vibes!
We’ve seen Rapunzel in the reopened parks in character cavalcades and waving to guests on the train station in Magic Kingdom. We are excited she is getting her own distanced experience now!
Seeing familiar princess faces around Disney World has always been one of our favorite pastimes, and this is especially true lately, when we could all use a smile!
