Since the parks reopened in July, entertainment in Disney World has been pretty limited.

With no fireworks shows and many live performances closed, it was always nice to see the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra play in The Disney Society Orchestra at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The orchestra is best known for playing in the lobby of the Grand Floridian for 32 years. When the orchestra played their final performance on October 3rd at Hollywood Studios, we weren’t sure if we’d ever see the group back together again. But now, we can!

This holiday season, the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra is coming back under a new name, “The Jolly Creek Society Orchestra!” These former Disney musicians will play as the headliners at the Jolly Creek Winter Festival in Kissimmee, Florida.

Starting on November 20th, you can catch this talented group over at Jolly Creek! This orchestra has been a part of Disney for such a long time and they are a huge part of Disney entertainment. Head to Jolly Creek’s Twitter page for more information. We are glad to see these musicians getting back together for the holidays!
