Disneyland Paris’ New Policy Addresses UK Visitors Affected by Quarantine Requirements

After a temporarily closure due to the global pandemic, Disneyland Paris reopened a few months ago.

If you’re looking for some awesome Halloween decor and experiences, Disneyland Paris has lots! But, if your visit to this international park has to be changed or canceled due to certain quarantine requirements, you’ll want to take a close look at the Resort’s policies.

If you’re traveling from France to the United Kingdom, you’ll have to quarantine in the United Kingdom for 14 days when you arrive. So, if you’re in the UK and planning a trip to Disneyland Paris, you’ll have to follow the 14-day quarantine when you return to the UK.

For some, that may not be a concern, but for others the quarantine requirement is enough to make them want to modify or cancel their next Disneyland Paris trip. Now, Disney has specified what options guests have if they need to change their upcoming visit. Their website specifies this is for existing bookings — arrivals set to occur during the quarantine period.

Arrival at Disneyland Paris Scheduled Within the Next 7 Days

According to the Disneyland Paris website, if you are scheduled to arrive at Disneyland Paris within the next 7 days but you can no longer visit due to the 14-day quarantine needed upon your return to the UK, you can either:

• modify your Hotel + Ticket package without amendment fees, or
• cancel your package without fees and receive a full refund, which will include insurance and transport if they were booked with Disneyland Paris as part of your package.

If you decide to move your vacation to a new date, you can choose to cancel your Hotel + Ticket package without fees and make a new booking at the current available rate subject to availability. Disney will then refund you the difference if the price is lower. If the price is higher, you’ll have to pay the difference. You can reach out to the Disneyland Paris reservation team by calling the number on your confirmation email to make these changes.

Arrival at Disneyland Paris Scheduled In Over 7 Days

If, instead, you’re scheduled to arrive at Disneyland Paris in over 7 days, but you can no longer visit due to the 14-day quarantine that would be required when you return to the UK, Disneyland Paris’ “Zen Guarantee” allows you to either:

• modify your Hotel + Ticket package without amendment fees, or
• cancel your package without fees and receive a full refund, excluding insurance and transport fees, if applicable.

Again, to make this modification or cancellation, guests are invited to call the reservation team at the  number indicated on the vacation confirmation email. Disneyland Paris has warned, however, that call volumes are quite high so you may experience a longer wait than usual.
