Disney World has started to provide its Annual Passholders with extended dates on their passes from the parks closures.

However, while Disney has refunded different aspects of guests’ vacations automatically, monthly payment Annual Passholders will need to follow an extra step to get their extended dates instated.
If you opted to extend your Annual Pass after Disney World provided information about how monthly passes would be refunded, members of the Annual Passholder monthly payment plan can call 888-701-4100, extension number 3, to discuss options for extending their pass.

After our AllEars team member who participates in the monthly payment plan called the number, Disney confirmed that passes would not be automatically extended. Since monthly payments weren’t collected during the closure, Passholders were given the choice to either let their pass expire on the same date without paying for the closure period or have their pass extended by the four months.

Our team member stated that her pass was extended from September of 2020 until January 2021 with this being the case. Annual Passholders on the monthly payment program will not get charged until the parks reopen. When they reopen, they will begin being charged as usual. The Cast Member stated that the expiration date would be updated on the app and in the owner’s account between now and when the parks reopen.

However, if monthly payment plan members do not call, their passes will NOT be automatically extended. During our experience, the best number to reach the direct department was the one we listed above. But, it did still take us about an hour to get connected to the department because of the call volume they were receiving!

While your experience may be different than our’s, we recommend calling the department directly in order to get your Annual Pass extended on the monthly payment plan.We will keep you updated with any other information!
These are all the changes and cancellations that Disney World is implementing during their reopening plans!
