Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite Has Been Postponed!

We recently shared that Star Wars Celebration, which was originally set to take place this August at the Anaheim Convention Center, has been postponed to 2022.

In conjunction with the expo, Disneyland was set to host an after-hours Star Wars Nite that same weekend, on August 27th. We now know that this Disneyland After Dark event has also been postponed.

Information regarding this update was made available on Disney Parks Blog. At this time, a new date has not been announced.

The postponement of Star Wars Celebration is largely due to the nature of large conventions and the current state of reopening the economy. The state of California has just moved into Phase Three of reopening. Despite the fact that theme parks like Disneyland can reopen, California Governor Gavin Newsom noted in several press conferences that Phase Four is still far away, which is when large conventions could resume.

Disneyland is preparing to reopen its theme parks on July 17th. At this time, we do not know any additional information regarding other Disneyland After Dark or special ticket events, but be sure to keep an eye out for more updates as we learn them!
