NEWS: The Opening of Disneyland Paris' Marvel Hotel Has Been Delayed

With Disney Parks around the world closed due to the ongoing global health situation, construction on big projects like the Epcot transformation and Avengers Campus has had to be put on hold for the time being.

Disneyland Paris had previously extended its closure indefinitely, but did not reveal at the time whether or not this closure would have any impact on construction projects at the resort. An update on the website for the resort has shed new light on a heroic makeover that was coming to one of Disneyland Paris’ hotels.

Disney’s Hotel New York was set to re-open with The Art of Marvel redesign on June 15th, 2020. Because of setbacks in construction caused by the closure, the opening date has been delayed.

Guests who had stays reserved at Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel between June 15th and October 31st, 2020 are eligible for a full refund for the amount they paid, or are able to get a voucher for the same amount valid for 18 months. The voucher can be used to book a future stay at another Disneyland Paris Resort hotel, or for a similar vacation at Hotel New York once they settle on a new opening date.

Disneyland Paris has said this delay will not affect those with a reservation starting on November 1st, 2020, but they will continue to monitor the situation and update as needed. You can find more information about the delay by visiting the Disneyland Paris website here!
