The Epcot International Festival of the Arts is finally here! The annual Epcot festival celebrates art in all its forms — performing, culinary, and visual.
The Festival of the Arts offers a variety of ways for guests to celebrate the arts, from Interactive Art Experiences and Artful Photo Ops, to innovative food and drink options. Of course, since this is Disney World, the festival incorporates plenty of magic, including pieces of art from a handful of beloved Disney characters!
Strolling around World Showcase, you may spot a few new additions near character meet and greet locations! Easels of art created by the character or someone close to them have appeared just in time for this year’s festival. Take a look at a few we spotted so far!
Who knew the Seven Dwarves had such an artist amongst them? This beautiful portrait of Snow White is signed by Doc himself, portraying the fairest princess of them all sitting by the wishing well. Since Snow White is a German fairytale, it makes sense that this piece of art was displayed over by the Germany Pavilion!
It should come as no surprise that Maurice’s easel comes adorned with plenty of innovative surprises! Even the pen he was using seems to be controlled by a bit of gadgetry. However he did it, this is one seriously gorgeous portrait of Belle from Beauty and the Beast that we spotted in the France Pavilion.
Alice is just full of talents — her drawing of the Wonderland’s White Rabbit is a cute and colorful addition to the UK Pavilion!
By the France Pavilion, you can find this lovely portrait of Princess Aurora. Originally signed by fairy Flora, her name has been crossed out and replaced by Merryweather’s!
We’ll keep updating this post as we find more magical works of art at the Festival!
