Let’s face it, if you’re going to spend a full, loooonnnnnng day in the Disney Parks, you’re going to need STUFF. It would be nice if you could breeze through the “no bags” line at the security checkpoint, but to last the whole day you’re going to need provisions: snacks, water bottle, poncho/umbrella, camera, extra batteries, wallet, wipes, tissues, cell phone charger… you get the idea. You’re not traveling light.
That means you need something to put all that stuff in.
Lucky for you, there are so many stylish choices of Disney backpacks available these days, many catering to your very specific needs! Let’s take a look!
By the way, you can find most of these backpacks in the Disney Parks, and ALL of them online at shopDisney! (Just click on the links or the images to go directly to the product!)
Is your little one still in diapers? This sturdy Disney backpack by Petunia Picklebottom (how adorable is that name?) is designed just for your unique needs!
It has lots of room for diapers, extra binkies, bottles, and all those other baby necessities; an exterior insulated zippered bottle pocket; a removable, water-resistant, and washable changing pad; plus a special insulated compartment on the bottom for keeping snacks, formula, or breast milk cool with ice pack (not included). AND there’s a monogrammed wipes case, with everything covered with a sweet all-over baby Simba, Zazu, Pumbaa and Timon motif. For $179.95, this is one great backpack that you’ll be able to use long after you’re out of the “diaper phase”!
2. Sling Sack
If the diaper backpack above is traveling heavy, this sling sack is at the opposite end of the spectrum, traveling light.
With multiple compartments and an adjustable strap to sling over your shoulder, this compact backpack will fit most of your essentials without weighing you down, for $39.99. Plus it has an awesome, fearsome, Pirates of the Caribbean design that plainly identifies you as one of Captain Jack’s scurvy crew! What could be better for your trip to Adventureland?
Another option for those wishing to travel light is the cinch sack.
This one, with the 2019 Walt Disney World motif, is made of lightweight polyester and features Walt Disney World and character screen art. It may not be great for carrying a lot of heavy-duty “stuff,” but if you’re just carrying a few necessities, this sack is for you. It will be a breeze to get through security, plus it’s easy on your wallet — just $24.99!
Like to be a little more stylish when you’re traveling? Need a little more room? One of the fabric Vera Bradley backpacks might be for you. With quilted cotton, a padded back and straps, side pockets and multiple compartments, this pack keeps all your essentials handy and safe — with style! Retailing for $100, this comfy backpack has a line of accessories to go with it, too. And if you can’t travel anywhere without your tech, there’s a “campus” version of this backpack with a zippered laptop compartment for $130.
Think you might want to bring some cool drinks and snacks into the parks? Maybe an insulated cooler backpack would be right for you. There are a number of different options, of course, but we love this Mickey backpack in our favorite mouse’s signature black, red, and white!
This pack has a fully insulated interior liner that’s also water resistant, so you can use this versatile and cute cooler for food and beverage or as an all-around activity backpack. You can get this one for $59.95.

I just use a clear plastic see-thru pack to get me thru security a bit faster…
A bit of a product commercial vs planning. I mean you basically just copy and pasted their online catalog.
Also, the pleather or vinyl ones would be murder in the heat.
