We are a repeat guest at the beach club staying on the club level.
The Beach Club has been our home for many years it's a great place to be!
That being said this past visit 1/29-2/4 2015 was somewhat of an eye opener for starters staff was changed and the new staff although very friendly not up on their people skills
Floor was remodeled and someone lost the whole Beach Club theme right down to the room number signs just a tile background? nothing in the room lets you know you're in a disney hotel could be any high end hotel any where.
Still would recommend the Beach Club not sure if we will seek another home.
Pros:
Great hotel new lounge in big!Cons:
Moved some senior people around new staff not very savvy on handling problems, rooms & hallways re-modeled but paint chipping on doors already , removed heavy light blocking curtains and installed shades that do not block the light. although the roomsReview of Grand Floridian Cafe Breakfast

We loved our breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe. The food was very good and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The service was good but the best part was how quiet the restaurant was. It was a nice place to start what was going to be a long and active day.
Pros:
Good food, good service, quiet breakfast spotCons:

We stayed at POFQ in from 9/14/14 to 9/20/14. My husband and I, our 2 year old son, and my father in law were in a double queen room together. The room was plenty large for all 4 of us. I had checked in online prior to our arrival and as we got off DME, someone was waiting for us with our name on an iPad. The check in process was very smooth and was done in the lobby on a bench so we could relax after a long morning of traveling. The gentleman handing out Mardi Gras beads helped to keep my son entertained while I checked in.
We were in the 4th building, second floor, as requested. The only request that was not granted was a corner room (not a deal breaker). There was a pack and play in the room with sheets available. It fit easily between the bed and the front wall and my son did not have a problem sleeping in it at all. The curtain between the sink area and the room allowed more than enough privacy so that I didn't feel uncomfortable changing with my FIL in the room. The only thing that would have made it better is if the door to the commode/tub was outside the curtain so that someone else could shower or use the facilities while someone else is changing.
We did not have any issues with the MagicBand throughout the week (with the exception of some operator errors!). We ate in the food court for breakfast most days and the food was pretty good. Would have liked more variety, but again, not a deal breaker. It was nice to have the TV in the dining room playing classic Fab Five cartoons because it helped to keep my son still in his seat while we got things ready for the day.
Building 4 was really close to the bus stop and we never had a long wait for the buses. On more crowded days with EMH, 2 buses would come back to back for MK and EP, which was really nice.
One snag in the trip, which I don't think went anywhere when I called and I will probably make a follow up call soon - I wear Toms shoes in the parks often - cute, easy, comfortable. It was raining on the morning we were leaving and I was walking down the steps with my son on my hip and my feet slipped on the steps I ended up with some pretty gnarly bruises on my hip and leg. Considering how often it rains, they should definitely consider adding some anti slip strips on the stairs.
Pros:
Room size, accommodations for toddler, ease of check in, awesome decor, small size, ease of busesCons:

Needless to say we were shocked at the condition of the villa we stayed in January 4 & 5, 2015. While clean it really looked old and showed it wear. This was our second time staying at the WLV's and were less than impressed. We are DVC members and are thankful we have the opportunity to stay in various locations from time to time. Certainly Not Worth The Points Cost!!
Pros:
Very attractive loby and like ease of boat transportation.Cons:

We've stayed at AS Sports in the past but started staying at Pop Century the last few times we've visited Disney. Next time we're going back to Pop Century or staying at one of the upper level hotels.
We've always understood that "value resort" is marketing speak for cheap, but it's just really bad. We never saw the point in spending twice or even three times the money to stay at one of the upper level hotels, our argument was that they're all run by Disney, but I can no longer justify staying here anymore.
The rooms are incredibly small and smell dirty. There was peeling paint, cigarette burn marks on the sink, the walls are made of cinder block and you can hear absolutely everything going on in your neighbors rooms. It's just really gross.
Through my job, I've stayed at a lot of different hotel chains at all price points, but Disney's "value" resorts are some of the worst. They are not anywhere near up to the Disney standard, or at least the Disney standard that used to exist.
There's more I can say but I think you get the point.
Pros:
inexpensiveCons:

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa the week of February 13th in the Springs section of Sarasota Springs. We felt the location was very convenient to all the parks and to Downtown Disney. There is a walkway on either side of the resort and its a quick 10 minute walk to DTD. The food choices were excellent. The Turf Club is a hidden gem. The Springs section was great as you could walk out either way and get to a feature pool with slides. We spent most of our time at high rock pool which had great entertainment for the kids. We were highly satisfied with this resort. We are not DVC members. The two bedroom suite was amazing and gave our family of five enough space for all to enjoy!
Pros:
Convenient, Size of Rooms, PoolsCons:

Had dinner here on Feb 24. Chef came out to talk to me, since I stated some allergies while making reservation. This because I'm vegan. There is a great l'o mein on the menu which is vegan as is, so that was easy. Hubby had the salmon. We both really enjoyed our meal here. Hubby's salmon was amazing, so he stated. Lo mein was great, but I scored it a 9 (and not a ten) because it was a little to oily for me. Wine pairing to both dishes was spot on. Hubby had cheese plate for dessert, looked good and tasted great, or so he Saïd. Would definately go back again.
Pros:
Solid food, great winesCons:

We had dinner at CG Feb 23rd. We were sealed in th smaller dining room. Our server, Ryan, was very knowledgable, friendly and fun. As a vegan, I ordered the mushroom flatbread without cheese and the vegan unlimited plate, which is not on the menu but made specifically for vegans. My hubby got the charcuterie and the filet mignon. We ordered a matching wine. It was one of the best meals we ever had, and we dine out often and upscale. Highly recommended. Not cheap, but very, very good!
Pros:
Atmosphere, amazing food, great serverCons:

I booked our stay at Coronado before reading reviews. After reading reviews I was worried that I made a poor decision but I have to be honest that our stay was fantastic and would definitely stay here again.
We stayed in the Cabanas which was a short walk to the main building. Not a problem as we were visiting in February when the weather in Florida is much nicer than the frigid weather we came from. The walk isn't an issue as there are multiple bus stops and employees with golf carts are more than happy to call out and see if you need a ride. Our room was always in lovely condition, even if the bathroom needed some updating. (Our bathroom door was weird and had difficulty opening it since there was no handle but aside from the door everything else was lovely.)
The food..THE FOOD. I cannot eat Gluten or Dairy and we ate at the Maya Grill AND the Pepper Market and they were able to accommodate me. If you have food intolerances/allergies ASK the cast members were so nice and we had fresh food from the Chef. YES on Gf/Df french toast AND Mickey Waffles in the morning!
We did online check in and our process was smooth. Checking out was great as well. Honestly, I cannot find anything really poor to say about Coronado We want to go back now!
Pros:
Lovely environment, comfortable rooms, housekeeping is great, restaurants accomodating for restricted diets, gorgeousCons:

Stopped by for lunch on February 28, 2015. We ordered fried green tomatoes and cornbread for appetizers, which were great. My husband ordered catfish and was satisfied. I ordered chicken and waffles. I had this dish last August and it was great. This time the waffles were overdone. When I told the waiter, he took them back and brought new. These were just as bad. He said the chef claimed that was the only way they could be made with their skillet. Then he took away both the waffles and chicken without asking if I was done. He never asked if I wanted anything else. He never refilled my tea or our water. The dish was removed from the receipt so we did not have to pay for it. Very bad experience at a usually reliable restaurant.
