Crystal Palace is incredibly accommodating for restricted diets. Our server was helpful and the Chef was wonderful. The chef will show you what you can eat and will also offer to make fresh food from the kitchen. I'm GF/DF and received fresh gf dinner rolls and df "butter". For dessert they had a gf/df brownie they brought out for me. MM! The food was delicious and fresh and we loved it. The food I grabbed consisted of fresh greens (green beans, broccoli), rice, roasted chicken, and Salmon in a honey-cilantro pesto. Fantastic.
The characters were great and fun! The Cast Members made sure that we got to meet Pooh and all of his friends while we were there. At one point there was a little dance party so it was fun to see the kids romp around with the characters.
The environment was nice and we had a nice view outside of Cinderella's castle. The Cast Members and Chef worked really hard to give us a magical evening! 🙂

This place was SO COOL! I loved feeling like I was outside in a drive-in theater and loved seeing clips of old sci-fi films. (Plan 9 made an appearance and we had a good chuckle.) The tables shaped like cars are also a neat touch and it feels really intimate even if you have people sitting in front/behind you.
They were able to accommodate my gf/df diet and I liked they also had an option other than french fries: Cucumber Salad. I would recommend you ask for it when you go, it's deliciously thinly sliced cucumber and onion marinated in a vinegar-based dressing. Yummy! My husband had a milkshake and said it was good, too.
Fun experience in Hollywood Studios!

Reviewed by destinie Review Date: 03/02/2015

I really like the new FastPass+ system for several reasons:
1) Elimination of cards. If you have a magicband you can store all your information on it, including your fastpass+ reservations. I loved it! I didn't have to keep track of where a card was or worrying about digging through a bag or wallet every time I wanted to get on a ride. Tap your band and you're in.
2) It allows everyone an opportunity to ride the rides. I remember not having fastpass options visiting WDW when I was younger and all I remember from when I went as a kid was waiting in lines for over an hour in the heat of summer while people who could afford it were able to jump in line. Glad I didn't have to do that this time. I feel like the FastPass+ is a fair system to give everyone the opportunity to ride a ride without having to spend a majority of their day standing in line.
3) Great for organization. It allowed us to pick what we really wanted to do then we could organize our day around it. We did have the opportunity to be spontaneous when we were near attractions with a very short wait time and it allowed us to make a plan of what we really wanted to do and optimize our time. I feel like part of the "magic" in a vacation is being able to plan and dream about the fun stuff you are going to do!
4) It's easy! You get 3 passes to start then you can add more. Adding new passes were really easy and found that the lines for the kiosks were great. And I felt that we wouldn't have experienced as much as we did without the use of fastpass+. The process prior to getting to the parks were very easy, too. The WDW official website is incredibly helpful if you need it. At the kiosks in the park, there were cast members who could add the fastpass+ reservations for you as well.
I also liked how you could get alerts on your reservations when a ride was inaccessible. We received an email that one ride was down and we got a free reservation to use on predetermined attractions. That was great! I really liked feeling like WDW was working with us to make sure we had a great time. 🙂
Pros:
Good for organization, Allow EVERYONE to experience fast passCons:

We stayed in Room 2829 from February 21st through February 28th, 2015. It was a bit of a hike from the main lobby and even the West Bus Depot. It didn't bother us as we were three adults with nothing to carry around (including kiddos). The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. I was unsure of the Alligator Bayou side but couldn't have been more pleased with our "garden" view. 2829 is also a corner room which let in a ton more light and the room felt much more spacious than expected. The food court was delicious and quick with friendly service.
I would be worried about staying here in the hotter, more humid months as we did come across a few mosquitoes and I don't doubt that there are more in summer.
The ferry was great to DTD but did take a while to go back and forth. Make sure to allow more than enough time to get to DTD if you have a dinner reservation!

I had the Grilled Veggie Sandwich on February 27th, 2015 with carrots as my side and apples slices for dessert. This was hands down, one of the best sandwiches I had the entire week. It tasted almost like a pizza, but even better. There was plenty of seating and the line moved quickly. I definitely recommend grabbing a bite to eat here.
The carrots were kind of bleh but they do have ranch cups and you get a hefty portion.

We dined here on February 25th and requested patio seating with decent views. We received this request, but our views of the fireworks were blocked by a few rude people who decided to stand around their table (this is not a fault of the restaurant).
We ordered the hummus and imported olives for our appetizer and it was some of the best hummus we've ever had. Phenomenal.
I ordered the veggie platter which was HUGE and had so many different samples on it. It was my own small plate. The harrissa hummus fries were fantastic. The couscous was very similar to the quality you get at Tangerine Cafe - I'm not a super big fan of this couscous, but I ate most of it (mixed with leftover hummus from our app).
I also enjoyed the iced mint tea. It's not something I'd go back for in particular, but it was refreshing and not sweet.
For dessert I had the chocolate pyramid. This was extremely rich. I could only eat a few bites.
Service was phenomenal. Our server was extremely attentive and always on top of giving us refills. He gave us the perfect amount of time between ordering items and was very well versed in the menu offerings.

The atmosphere and service blew me away at Be Our Guest. But that's about as much as I can say. I'd go again, just because I really loved being there - but it wouldn't be for the food.
My husband absolutely loved his salmon, but my ratatouille was extremely tomato based. I know it should be - but I can only handle so much acid. I was only able to eat half of my entree, but my husband finished mine off and gave me his delicious potatoes. He loved my entree, so it's probably just me!
The service was great and our waitress was attentive.
I was disappointed in the selection of desserts. I did like that they brought the dessert cart to your table and dressed up the plate in front of you - but that's where my love for the desserts ends. The grey stuff was on an extremely dried out and hard brownie. Bleh. My husband's lemon meringue cupcake was good - but why the heck are there cupcakes for dinner at such a fancy place?
My husband's already talking about going back - so I will give it another shot. It really was beautiful inside.

I'm a vegetarian - except for when it comes to this fish. The only time I ever get fish is here. We dined here on February 25th. I got the fish and chips and a sponge cake for dessert. The fish was as phenomenal as I remember. I already can't wait to get back. The fries were cooked well. The sponge cake had me guessing for a bit as to whether or not I'd like it, just because I don't trust OTC cake desserts in Disney. Boy, this proved me wrong. Delicious and moist.
The only issue I have with this place is that there is never enough seating.

We ended up going to Pecos Bills twice over our trip at the end of February 2015. The toppings bar selection was great and their veggie burger was cooked to perfection (which is hard to come by). They even have grilled mushrooms at the toppings bar!!! 😀
There's tons of seating and it seemed to be cleaned up quickly.
The only issue I had was with a cranky cashier on one of our visits. I had asked for apple slices to sub in for dessert and she just mumbled to herself and kept clicking the screen... eventually I understood that she said that she couldn't do that for me (even though it was literally done for me just two days prior). So I had to interrupt her mumbles and just tell her to give me yogurt. I was able to switch it out as they were giving me our food, but boy - what a commotion for some apples.

I had the create your own pasta. I felt a little rushed and it was a little hard to hear the people behind the counter. But you get a huge portion and it comes cooked very well. Great selection in this food court.
