Our first experience with DisneyQuest was not the best. While the place was not crowded at all it took awhile to find attractions that were open. Games were breaking down or just not open. I can't imagine the place if it was crowded. I used my 2 free admits but still had to pay for one more. EXPENSIVE! I am not an advocate for spending quality family, Disney time playing Disney themed interactive games. will not visit here again. Not worth the price.

Pros:

buzz lightyear game

Cons:

Nice bakery with so many tempting pastry options. We were there about an hour after park opening and the line was well out the door. It took about 20 minutes to get our food. The seating is limited, as with so many counter service eateries in the World. We ended up sitting around the corner in the Brown Derby outdoor seating area, since the Derby was not yet open. Recommend the apple cranberry turnover and the cheese danish. Yum! Sandwiches and cupcakes looked pretty much to die for. Next time, we'll try this place for lunch 🙂

Pros:

Delicious Pastries

Cons:

Long Line, No Available Seating

As park dining goes, this was a very pleasant experience. We (family of 4) were seated 5 minutes ahead of our reservation time and our server was friendly and efficient. The food was good. We ordered fried calamari and ceasar salad appetizers, chicken parm and strip steak entrees, and were served the mini-dessert tray. We all enjoyed the meal.
Our 17 yr. old daughter wanted a "fancy" non-alcoholic drink. The drink menu had plenty of alcoholic mixed drinks and only 1 specialty non-alcoholic drink: lemonade in a Cars or Ariel plastic cup. Nothing quite right for our daughter, so we asked our server to bring her a Shirley Temple with a glow-cube in it. We were very pleased to have this request happily fulfilled. The drink looked beautiful and tickled our daughter. The cube was $3.99 extra and is re-usable. We brought it home 🙂
We were on the Fanstasmic package. 4 people, 1 glow cube, 20% tip for excellent service = just under $190... and Fantasmic was rained out 🙁
Giving this experience a 10 for what it is - a park dining experience. The same meal outside of Disney would have been good, but nothing to write home about, and the price would have been about half what we paid. However, ...having a table in a themed restaurant on an extremely crowded day in Hollywood Studios... eating some satisfying food... getting off our feet for an hour while it poured rain outside = priceless in the park 🙂

Pros:

Very Pleasant Dining Experience

Cons:

Pricey

OK -- We knew going in that the lines would be long and there would probably be no available seating... and we were absolutely right. The line was LONG and SLOW. When we finally got to the register, the grumpy employee looked at us and said "I'm done!" and turned around and left. Hmmmm. The employee at the next register kindly helped us.
We had read online that they served batter dipped fried Snickers bars here. It was the reason my daughter picked this counter service restaurant. There is a BIG sign over the register enticing people to try this item. When you order it, however, you will be told that it has been discontinued 🙁
Seating is, of course, limited, sigh. On the evening we were there, there were a few large family groups that put a couple of people in line while other family members grabbed up tables as soon as people were finished and pushed them together for their party. We watched this happening and by the time we were through the line, almost all the outdoor seating was "taken" by a few families. We stood outside in the chilly weather and gobbled our fish, which was good, as quickly as possible. Not the experience we were hoping for on our first night in the World, but there were magical moments ahead.

Pros:

Good Fried Fish

Not nearly enough seating, Long Lines

Love Casey's. Corn dog nuggets and skinny fries are yummy. Typical negative aspects: long lines, not nearly enough seating (though I understand they are working on an expanded seating area). We sat on the curb outside to eat.

Pros:

Corn Dog Nuggets!

Cons:

NO Seating

My family and I visited this restaurant on 2/5/15. Our reservations were for noon and we were seated just a few minutes later. Our server was friendly and explained the menu. One person ordered the Mahi Mahi sandwhich which was served with fries. She said it was very good. Two of us ordered the Prix-Fixe lunch which included French Onion Soup (tremendous) and the Toasted Ham and Cheese sandwich with a salad. The sandwich was good and filling. The salad didn't have a lot of taste.

The desserts were excellent. The Strawberry and Cream cake was very fresh. The Profiteroles au Chocolat was worth all of the calories. Any chocoholic would enjoy that dessert.

Pros:

Good food, great service

My family and I visited this restaurant on 2/4/15. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She explained that there would be a meteor shower every 20 minutes where the dinosaurs would start moving and things would get loud. Well, it felt more often than 20 minutes. If was nearly impossible to talk when the noise started. It was also hard to read the menu because they dimmed the lights. If you have kids with you, they will probably love it.

The menu is extensive and the items had cute names. I ordered a Pterodactyl Salad which included rotisserie chicken and it was excellent. Others ordered the Fossil Fish-n-Chips and Steak Kabobs. Both were good. All of us ordered the Key Lime Pie for dessert. The pieces were very big and very good.

Pros:

Good food

Cons:

Too loud

We really enjoyed our lunch here on our last day at Disney. We were able to get a reservation for 11 a.m. the night before we ate there. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m., so this turned out to be a low crowd time. Because we were eating early, we skipped breakfast. We were seated right on time and our server was pleasant and very efficient. We ordered Rainforest burgers and a Turkey Club with a Chocolate Volcano for dessert -- enough for the 4 of us to share! Everything was delicious. A nostalgic experience for us, since we had not been in this restaurant since our now teenage children were young enough to be frightened by the thunderstorms:) Were also pleased to find a couple of nice t-shirts in the gift shop for just $15 each.
Just can't think of 1 thing to complain about -- so it's a 10!

Pros:

Fun Atmosphere, Good Food

Review of Osborne Lights (Disney's Hollywood Studios)

We visited the Osborne Lights on the 2nd night they were on in early November. I had no idea how mesmerizing it was going to be. I figured we would walk down the street looking at the lights and it would be a 15 or so minute time thing. We were in the Streets of America for over an hour just looking. There were tons of photopass photographers and we got lots of great pictures. Finding the hidden Mickey's and the black cat was tons of fun. We have scheduled our trip in November again next year partly so we can see these gorgeous lights again.

Mesmerizing Lights

My family and I ate at this restaurant the last day of our vacation. We specifically picked it to get the Fantasmic passes for the evening's performance. Our reservations were for noon. We arrived early and only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. Our server was friendly. He explained that even though we were using the dining plan, the Fantasmic package included both an appetizer and dessert along with the entree and drink. We each ordered a different appetizer (Caeser Salad, Mixed Green Salad, and Mozzarella/tomato salad). All were fresh and the servings were huge. For the entree, two of us ordered the charred Strip Steak which was the best steak I had all week at a Disney restaurant. The other member of our party had the Spaghetti and Meatballs. She said the meatballs were very flavorful and the sauce was good. Our meal ended with a platter of small desserts. All were very good.

I'm glad we got the passes for Fantasmic. There was a large crowd for the show and we had great seats. I highly recommend this restaurant and the Fantasmic package.

Fantasmic Dinner Package
