Great qs option at the posh GF resort! We enjoyed the variety and that most everything is still made to order. We enjoyed the pizzas, the strombolis, the create your own salad option, and the breakfast options are great!

I was surprised at how good the food was! Great sandwiches, and the braised pork roast was really yummy! We order the four gourmet cupcakes and shared them (table of 8) and all were great. I had lower expectations going in based on many seeming to not love the food. For QS, I think it is one of the best food options.

Pizza is really good, although I do wish the crust were a bit more crispy. . .I am a thin crust fan. We all enjoyed it nonetheless. Our server did a fantastic job. We were seated at the big family style table in the middle. The place is really loud and bustling, but we enjoyed it, especially the food.

We stayed for a week at Art of Animation in January. It was a pleasant surprise, better than the other value resorts we have stayed at.
We had a Little Mermaid room and the theming was great. Everything felt new, clean, and colorful. We did not have a suite, and were placed in building 8 which was pretty far from the food court and main pool. Most of the other buildings were suites, so if you're just a family of 4 you may be far from the main areas. That said, there was a nice smaller pool close to our area.
The outdoor theming of the various buildings was really well-done; we thought it was better than the All-Stars which we also like. There is also a very nice walking/running trail along a quiet lake.
The pool was great, the kids loved it. The resort also had great poolside activities during the late afternoon, including a DJ, trivia contests, and similar, with super-enthusiastic staff. Fun!!
The Food Court was better than we expected. The highlights were a "Choose Your Own Pasta Bowl" and "Build Your Own Burger". For the Pasta Bowl, you could choose pasta type, chicken or shrimp, sauce type, and other toppings such as garlic and peppers and they cooked it to order. Similar for the Build Your Own Burger. The prices were not bad by Disney standards, and the quality and selection was great for a family with varying tastes and pickiness.
If we stay at Value resorts on our next WDW trip, we certainly would try to choose Art of Animation again.

For the money, I think this is the best of the Value hotels. You have easy access to the Art of Animation to go look around/eat at if you want to be a little adventurous, nice grounds, and a decent food court. The pools are a bit of a bore, but no more so than the other Values (need to go moderate if you are planning on spending days at the hotel swimming). Overall if your main goal is strictly parks/downtown with just very little time looking for things to do around the hotel, this a great hotel for you.

Food was pretty good. And the characters were great (though the little one was scared of Stich, the only one we met the whole trip she was scared of. Maybe the teeth?). The view here is amazing as well. The food is good, though far from my favorite breakfast. While I'm not sure we will be back (until we know the little one likes the Stich character), if your kid (or you) love Lilo and Stich, it would be worth it.

This was our third time here (first time for dinner). When I booked, the photos were still advertised. I never learned that we weren't receiving the free photos until after dinner, which made me pretty mad as I didn't take a lot of pictures with Belle since I expected the free ones later. As an aside, the price has NOT decreased with you no longer receiving the pictures, so the two of us plus an infant paid over $100.
The food was good, but was not a lot for the price. Also, the lamb was off the menu which is what I was looking forward to the most. I will say that with they still gave a full meal to our under 3 year old for free (so no sharing needed).
All three times we have had the same princesses (Aurora, Snow White, Cinderella, and Ariel). Honestly, without the photos, we won't be back. It is way too much money for what you get. It's worth doing once (I suggest breakfast personally) in place of the SUPER expensive castle, but beyond that, you can find all of the characters in the parks, and if you go early enough, without much of a line either.

The buffet was nice with plenty of options and traditional German food. The band was fun and we danced a bit after dinner. They have shared tables and we were seated with another family which worked out fine.

Split the appetizer portion of their Cobb salad, was just the right size for 2. Had the Pan-seared Porcini Powder-dusted Pork Tenderloin, the Charred-glazed Filet of Beef and the children's Grilled Breast of Chicken. All was very good and for dessert we did the trio picking the Grapefruit Cake, Banana Toffee cake and Warm Blueberry cobbler...yum!
