Mears connect did great on the delivery to the hotel but the pick up was one heck of a hot mess!! Out driver was 30min late and there was still another stop to make. Making it to the airport with not enough time to get through security and having to make a run for it with 4 humans under 8 was less that desired. The driver was less then understanding as was the customer service team. This was not the greatest way to bring a close to a first family trip.
Pros:
Great job from airport, comfortable bus ride, a/c worksCons:

Told driver we were in a hurry to get to our resort (All Star Sports) He said we would be his first stop, but it was actually his second. Gave driver a nice tip and left the bus in time for the rope drop

First of all, Mears Connect had two locations in the airport on opposite ends. It isn’t clear which one you are supposed to go to, so lots of walking around the airport for us. Then, we waited in an empty queue to be able to load the bus. Once on the bus, there were many stops at other hotels. It took around 2 hours from the time we got off the plane to get to our hotel only 20 minutes away, with all the waiting. Then, the bus driver dropped us off at the wrong Holiday Inn, requiring us to Uber it to the right one. I had prepaid for a return trip back to the airport. I received a text the day of the return trip, with a link to track the bus. We were supposed to get picked up at 2:32 pm and I could see the bus was nearby but stopping at lots of other hotels. Long story short, it drove right past our hotel and never picked us up. We had to get an Uber to take us to the hotel, almost missing our flight. Had tried calling Mears and was on hold with them for 30+ minutes before a representsride said they’d send a taxi at their expense (too late, I had called an Uber). Then, they weren’t going to even give me a refund until I argued for it. Would never use them again nor recommend to anyone. Just take an Uber, it’s cheaper, more convenient, and more reliable.
Pros:
Bus was clean and comfyCons:
Dropped us at wrong hotel when getting to Orlando, never picked us up for return to airport. Expensive. Unreliable. Poor customer service. Long waits on the phone if you need help.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 04/01/2022

Awful. Waited 30 minutes after checking in to get on bus. Then another 30 to depart. Had 5 stops! This is completely unacceptable considering it’s a paid service now. The only reason I gave 3 was because check in (scanning QR) was a breeze and the busses are clean and comfy. Definitely won’t be using Mears again.
Pros:
CleanCons:
Slow, unorganizedReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 03/30/2022

My son and I used Mears Connect this spring break season to get to and from the airport and Animal Kingdom Lodge and had no problems at all. I was very nervous given all the bad reviews I read but still decided to chose them over the Sunshine Flyer because of their website vs Sunshine Flyers. I called both beforehand just to see if a situation arise, could I get through to someone for help. For Sunshine Flyer my called ended in either being forced to leave a voicemail or asked to email them. If I am stuck in a bind, I'd rather be stuck on hold than have to hope that someone gets back to me. So I chose Mears Connect. Mears Connect provided a QR code. When we arrived at the airport, we checked in at Mears Connect. Despite this being a Sunday during spring break season, there was absolutely no line (although they certainly could have handled a line because they have a lot of space at the airport and they have numbered lanes for you to stand in if you have to wait for a bus). We were able to walk through our lane and immediately board a bus. There were only about 4 family groups on the bus. We were one of the last drop-offs but the time spent on bus was very reasonable. I was very pleased. I was the most worried about not being picked up for our return to the airport but that went smoothly as well. I received an email the day before with my QR and pick-up time. I confirmed where the pick up was with my hotel. About 10 to 15 minutes before the pick up time, I received two text messages from Mears - one with my QR again for easy access - and a second text that contained a link to track my driver. I really appreciated the track my driver link because it alleviated all my worries about not being picked up. I could see where my bus was, that he is one his way, and that he was close. The bus arrived exactly on time - to the minute. There were only two to three pickups after me and we had plenty of time to get to the airport. So everything went very smoothly.
Pros:
No wait at airport. Buses were clean. They had tvs in the buses with trivia and videos about animals which we really enjoyed. The track your driver text for the return trip alleviated any worry of not being picked up. Everything went smoothly.Cons:
None for my trip. Only con was the worry induced by bad reviews I had read.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 03/20/2022

Our trip from the airport to our resort was relatively good. Our arrival was late in the evening, so we benefitted from a shuttle (vs bus) with one stop. Sort of the premium experience for our standard fare. Driver was fast—-not much traffic, but surprised at how quickly he drove. Guess shuttles not governed.
Return trip was a different story. Bus did arrive on time for pick-up. First on the bus and only guests at that location. We were told there’d be 3 more stops. Understand multiple stops are part of standard service. Unlike the other, this driver took her time…. We spent an hour picking up (and waiting for no-shows) before heading to the airport. While there were times in the past where we felt we got to the airport way too early—this was not the case. In addition, the driver piped very loud music (some sort of instrumental adult listening heavy on the sax). She played with the volume and tapped her fingers —-seemed more concerned with that than driving. Was surprised at the volume for driving a chartered bus. (Add a few screaming kids for good measure). Would have tolerated the noise if we didn’t also repeatedly check our watches wondering if we’d get there in time for security, etc.
Pros:
Transportation was available to take us and pick us up.Cons:
Without The Mouse watching, the service seemed a bit iffy—-maybe just an odd case with the loud music and abundance of stops and later-than-expected airport arrival. Will definitely try another service or option later this spring.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 03/05/2022
