There have been so many new snack additions all over Disney World recently, especially across the resorts. So we decided to try a bunch and give you a big resort snack review!

So, let’s get into it because we have a lot of thoughts on what you should try and skip next time you’re in Disney World!
First, we went over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge to visit The Mara and grab the Giraffe Cake Bar for $5.99.

This dessert was really delicious; the cake was soft and moist, while the icing was subtle and had a great texture. For only $6, we were surprised at how dense and thick this treat was; it could definitely be shared by two people! And the chocolate chips added a great crunch to the otherwise soft cake. This treat was super cute, and we really enjoyed it.

At The Mara, we also grabbed the Africa-shaped Sandwich Cookie for $5.29.

This cookie was a fun surprise! It tastes almost like a zebra cake with a raspberry jelly filling. The icing had a great crunch, and the jelly filling was slightly tangy, which balanced out the sweetness really well. We would definitely grab this cookie again.

Mara - Jambo House
Then we popped over to Centertown Market at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to try three new treats! We first grabbed the S’mores Chocolate Marshmallow Tart for $6.49.

If you like S’mores or dark chocolate, this treat is for you! Those flavors come through so strongly in this dessert; however, if you’re not a fan of dark chocolate, that bitter flavor really comes through, so this might not be for you. Also, the chocolate pretzels on top were very stale, so we would avoid those if you grab this treat. The marshmallows on top were so soft and really good. Overall, if you love dark chocolate, this dessert is a win!

We also grabbed the Mango Mocha Tart for $5.99. This dessert was nice, light, and refreshing! The mocha meringue on top was smooth and added a nice chocolate flavor.

The tart was crunchy but not at all dry, which balanced the smoothness of the mousse inside. The vanilla flavor was creamy and not too sweet, while the mango flavor was slightly stronger. Overall, it was also very large and definitely worth the price.

Lastly, at Centertown Market, we tried the Tropical Mousse Cheesecake for $6.49. This was very, VERY strange.

The whole thing was very smooth, and the bit of jelly on the inside made it all one sort of texture. This was light and refreshing, and while it was a unique experience, this dessert was not our favorite, and we would recommend trying something different.
