This Popular Magic Kingdom Restaurant is Now CLOSED

A popular Disney World restaurant just closed for the summer to welcome in a brand-new experience!

The Diamond Horseshoe just closed at Magic Kingdom for Cool Kids’ Summer to make way for an event for the kiddos, and it’s bringing a lot of new offerings!

Cool Kid Summer officially kicks off on May 26th and lasts through September 8th, 2026. With the fun summer event for the kiddos just around the corner, the popular Magic Kingdom restaurant has closed.

The closure of The Diamond Horseshoe is to welcome our favorite friends from Toy Story, who will be arriving for playtime soon! The Diamond Horseshoe restaurant will become the place for Jessie’s Roundup — a fun craft and dance party with Jessie, Woody, and all their pals.

The doors are locked now, so this restaurant is officially closed. The table-service dining at Diamond Horseshoe is temporarily closed. Disney stated that the normal dining service is expected to resume in the fall of 2026.

Cool Kids’ Summer has even more to offer this summer. Head over to EPCOT to check out GoofyCore as CommuniCore Hall is retransformed. There will also be a dance party at Disney Springs, plus much more.
