6 Disney World Hotel Perks Confirmed for 2027

One of the best reasons to stay at a Disney World hotel is that you get certain perks with your visit, including free transportation to and from the parks and Disney Springs.

Guests staying at Disney World hotels in 2027 will have additional perks, too, and Disney has confirmed some popular ones will be returning.

Early Theme Park Entry

Guests staying at Disney World hotels can get into the parks and onto many rides 30 minutes before the park’s official opening time. This perk is good for any park and any day of your stay. This also includes your check-in and check-out days.

Extended Evening Hours

Guests staying at deluxe Disney World hotels can also get access to Extended Evening Hours. Now, these hours work a little differently than Early Entry. On select dates, select parks will stay open two hours later just for Disney World hotel guests.

Free Water Park Entry

Over the past few years, you could also get a FREE ticket to Disney’s water parks, and we’ve got big news to share about that: this perk will return in 2027.

In 2026, Disney World changed the perk a little bit by only offering it in the summer (which makes sense, because who wants to visit a water park on a cold January day?). Disney also confirmed that this will remain the same in 2027: the perk will be offered during the summer.

Early Lightning Lanes

Disney World hotel guests can start booking Lightning Lanes for rides seven days before the first day of their trip (up to 14 days). Those who stay elsewhere can only book three days in advance.

Dining Reservations

If you’re staying at a Disney World hotel, you can also book your dining reservations 60 days in advance for the full duration of your stay, up to 14 days.

Free Transportation

Who knew transportation could be such a big deal? Well, when you visit a resort as spread out as Disney World, having a free transportation option at your hotel is a huge perk.

When booking a 2027 Disney World vacation package and deciding on a hotel, you’ll want to take transportation into account! Do you opt for a hotel on the Monorail loop? Do you want more options on a budget? Then you’ll probably lean towards Disney’s Pop Century Resort or Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, which offer the Skyliner AND buses.

Oh, and don’t forget about the hotels with boat transportation!

It’s important to note we did not see anything on the Disney World website about the free Water Park ticket perk returning in 2027 (yet, anyway). This perk, which returns to Disney World on May 26th, 2026, gets you a free ticket to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon for you and your entire group for your hotel check-in day.
