I’ve Stayed at Every Disney World Hotel and These Are the 8 With the Most Comfortable Beds

Over the years, I’ve slept in a lot of Disney beds. From every hotel at Disney World to Disneyland to the international resorts and even cabins on the Disney Cruise Line. However, not all of these beds have been created equal.

While some have felt like sleeping on a Toy Story cloud, others have been more like a concrete slab. So, where can you stay on a Disney vacation to make sure you get the best night’s sleep possible? Of the dozens and dozens I’ve rested my head, these have been my FAVORITES!

Deluxe Resort King Beds

Deluxe Resorts are the highest Tier of Disney World hotels, which means the highest nightly rates and the best amenities for guests. That extends to the beds, as the Deluxe resort king beds are absolutely fantastic. Now, the king bedrooms don’t fit for every scenario, but when you can book one, you are in for a good night’s sleep. From my experience, they’re a perfect mix of soft and firm, with enough space to get comfy however you like.

My personal favorite Disney Deluxe Resort beds can be found at the Wilderness Lodge, Grand Floridian Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Beach Club Resort! These are truly the peak of standard Disney-owned hotel beds, but might not be the best on Disney World property!

Four Seasons Orlando Beds

The next bed entry moves away from Disney-owned hotels to the opulent Four Seasons Resort Orlando, which is located on Disney World property near the Magic Kingdom. Four Seasons beds are famous for being incredibly comfortable, and these beds have to be my favorite I’ve ever slept in overall. How good are they? Four Seasons sends out marketing emails where guests can buy the same bedding and materials they use in their hotel rooms for use in their homes.

Swan & Dolphin Westin Heavenly Bed

The strongest competition for the Four Seasons bed on property finds its home at the Swan & Dolphin Resorts. The rooms there use the Westin Heavenly Bed, which lives up to its name with a pillow-top mattress, a white goose-down comforter, and four overstuffed pillows.

On a technical level, the beds offer reinforced, pocketed coil technology that distributes weight for even support, layers of temperature-regulating gel-infused foam that stimulate airflow and rest atop individually Pocketed Coils to relieve pressure points and reduce motion transfer, and innovative silver fiber weave delivers natural antimicrobial and antibacterial properties while pulling heat away from your body, keeping you cool and comfortable all night long.

Disneyland Hotel Beds

Moving across the country, let’s drop in on (technically) the oldest Disney hotel: The Disneyland Hotel, which opened just months after the park, though it wasn’t owned by Disney until the late 1980s.

Maybe it’s the fact that I was sleeping just feet from the “Happiest Place on Earth”, but I still dream about the good night’s sleep I had at the Disneyland Hotel.

Disney Cruise Line Beds

Comfortable Disney beds aren’t limited to land, however, as you can find some truly comfortable ones at sea on the Disney Cruise Line.

On several of my cruises, I’ve found the bed so comfortable each morning that I almost didn’t even want to get up… despite the day of cruising ahead of me!  Now, I do need to clarify, this is only true of the main bed in the cabin, as the sofa beds and bunks are fine, but not the same.
