REVIEW: There’s a Reason These 2 Animal Kingdom Drinks Are So Popular!

Look, we’re not saying you should drown your sorrows in alcohol, but these are tough times at Animal Kingdom now that DINOSAUR has closed, and we need a place to numb the pain a little bit!

Animal Kingdom

Well, we think we found the spot to do just that. It’s a drink spot called Thirsty River Bar, located in Asia right beside the queue line for Expedition Everest. They have lots of unique and tasty alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and we’re bringing you our review of two of the most popular ones!

The first drink we grabbed from the Thirsty River Bar is called the Khumbu Frozen Icefall, and you can get it for $15.50. It was made with Bacardi Silver, Coconut, and Raspberry Purée. Before even drinking it, the frozen icefall smelled really good. Off that initial sip, you can tell the drink is refreshing. You do have to make sure to stir this well because it is a little bit strong unless you mix all the flavors.

The Bacardi gives the drink a strong zing. The coconut stands out as a flavor in this, whereas the raspberry purée is slightly there, but we would prefer if there were a little bit more of it, honestly.

It’s got a kick to it

We really like that it’s frozen! We could see this being a big hit during spring and summer when the sun is out. It does melt pretty fast, which is a little annoying, but that’s what you get with frozen drinks in Florida.

You should try it!

After that, we tried the Himalayan Ghost for $16.50. We were told that this is the most popular drink at this stand. This was made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Guava, and Minute Maid Premium Lemonade.

Off the first sip, we could tell why this was the most popular drink. It tastes like a sweet, hard pink lemonade. This drink is a little weird because in some sips, you can taste a lot of pink lemonade, and then in other sips, you get a lot of the Tito‘s.

This one is popular!

Stirring it didn’t really do much in terms of evening out the flavors. All in all, this one’s actually really good. We liked this one more than the frozen one. If we could change anything about it, we would make it frozen! If you like pink lemonade, you’ll definitely like this drink.
