NEW Nonstop Flight Announced for Popular Florida Airport

Breeze Airways just announced a new nonstop flight to the Bahamas! The route connects Tampa International Airport and Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau.

This is the first direct flight from Tampa to the Bahamas in 20 years! Here’s everything you need to know.

Flights to Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport are scheduled to begin on June 11th, 2026, and will operate on Thursdays and Sundays. Tampa International Airport will now have 22 nonstop routes to international destinations.

Breeze’s new route will mark the airline’s first international flight out of Tampa. The airline was originally set to fly out of Tampa with a new route to Montego Bay, Jamaica, on February 11th, but due to Hurricane Melissa, Breeze delayed the plans until the country recovers.
