Having fun in Disney World can build up quite an appetite, and the good news is that there are hundreds of options for food in Disney World. You can dine at one of the theme parks, head to a Disney World hotel, or meander over to Disney Springs for just about any food you can imagine.

If you are feeling especially ravenous and are looking for something that is going to fill you up, we might have just the meal for you! Head on over to Disney Springs with us to grab a meal so big that the menu notes it is for two people. Let’s dig in!
For $46, you can get your very own Butcher Board (for 2) from The Polite Pig in Disney Springs. There is no shortage of food on the butcher board: pulled pork (or pork shoulder), smoked chicken, brisket, BBQ cheddar sausage, slaw, house pickles, two cornbreads, and a choice of two sides. This is perfect for sharing — the menu says for 2, but you can definitely share with more, or keep it all for yourself if you are really hungry!

The good news is that you will not be going hungry with this in front of you! You get four different types of meat, with a choice between pork shoulder or pulled pork. You get slaw, pickles, cornbread, pickled red onions, and a choice of sides. We opted for the Grilled Street Corn and Sweet Potato Tots, but you can also choose from sides like Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Southern Potato Salad, Mac and Cheese, Polite Baked Beans, and more.

Starting off with the Smoked Chicken. This was juicy with a bit of a kick to it. Not super spicy, but well-seasoned and full of flavor. It had a great smoky flavor on the outside, and it was juicy and tender on the inside. It is a bit difficult to cut into because it is bone-in, but you can also just pick it up and eat it!

The pulled pork was a bit dry and lacked flavor. We definitely recommend grabbing some sauce for the pulled pork. The Polite Pig has a selection of sauces at their sauce bar, so find one that you enjoy to go with it.

Moving on to the BBQ Cheddar Sausage. The sausage had good snap on the exterior and a bit of spice. The spice builds a bit as you eat it, too. The inside was tender and juicy.

The last meat is the brisket. We thought this was also on the dry side, and once again recommend grabbing some sauce for dipping it in! While it was fairly fatty, it was on the chewier side. We thought it had a great smoky flavor!

Now that we have finished up the meats, let’s start on the sides! The Sweet Potato Tots were yummy. They had a lot of earthy, sweet potato flavor, and we loved the crispiness on the outside. The inside was moist and soft. These were topped with Parmesan cheese and parsley. We didn’t taste the parsley much, but the parmesan added a savory, nutty flavor to the dish.

The coleslaw had a thin, creamy dressing. The cabbage had a good crunch and wasn’t super sweet like some coleslaws. We liked the freshness that the coleslaw added and appreciated that it wasn’t a super-heavy sauce or overly sweet.

The Grilled Street Corn was very tasty. The corn kernels were tender and sweet, topped with chipotle aioli and crispy breadcrumbs. The aioli was creamy with a slight kick. The breadcrumbs were wonderfully crispy and tasted great with the tender corn kernels.

We wish the cornbread muffins were a bit moister or served with butter. Even though it was a bit dry, we still thought it was tasty cornbread. It was sweet (but didn’t taste like corn cake) and had a good amount of cornmeal flavor.

The butcher board also includes some tangy pickled red onions and crunchy pickles. Overall, we enjoyed the butcher board, and you definitely get a lot of food on the plate! It may not top our list of the best food in Disney World, but it is a solid choice when you are looking for a big meal with variety. Make sure you grab some sauces for the meats, since some were a bit dry. Also, don’t be afraid to combine the components together – you might discover a new favorite combination!
