REVIEW: We Ate a Giant Crepe in EPCOT and We Have Zero Regrets

Over in Disneyland, giant food is a thing, thanks to Pym Test Kitchen in Avengers Campus, where the idea is that food can be shrunk down or enlarged thanks to Pym particles. However, in Disney World, giant food is still a new concept, and EPCOT seems to be trying it out first.

La Bête de Crêpe

First, there was the gigantic croissant, which is about as ridiculous as it sounds (and we’re okay with that). Now, there’s a giant crepe, and yes, we ordered it, for science.

Now, you won’t find this giant crepe on any actual menu. But if you go to Crepes A Emporter in the France Pavilion (the take-out window next to La Creperie de Paris), and ask for La Bête de Crêpe (translation: The Beast of Crepes). For $15.95, you’ll get a gigantic crepe filled with cheese, mushrooms, ham, and arugula. If that sounds incredible, we’re going to verify that yes, it is.

There it is!

We’ll start with the best part of the crepe: it’s got some crunchy and tangy cheese crusting the top. However, the crepe as a whole is a warm and hearty treat full of flavors, including mushrooms, which add just enough earthiness to balance out all that cheese. The argula adds a peppery finish that goes well with the freshness of the other ingredients.

SO tasty

This is a giant crepe, though, so we think it’s worth sharing. So if you’re looking for a fun way to lunch in EPCOT, be sure to ask for it by name.

We’ll be checking out other new food and drinks throughout Disney World, so be sure to check back with AllEars again soon for more reviews.
