Freakier Friday was a hit at the box office, making over $150 million against a $42 million budget, but if you missed it in theaters, there’s no need to worry. We now know exactly when it’ll be released on digital, and it’s sooner than you think!

People confirmed that Freakier Friday will release on digital to rent or own starting October 7th, and will then be available on Blu-Ray and DVD on November 11th. Bonus features will also be available, such as deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes features, and a lyric video to “Baby.”

The original Freaky Friday film starred Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis playing daughter Anna Coleman and mother Tess Coleman, respectively, who receive cryptic fortunes at a Chinese restaurant and somehow switch bodies. Until they find a fix, they have to pretend to be each other, and in the process, they develop a new respect and understanding for one another. Both Lohan and Curtis returned to the sequel film as their characters, but now, Anna is getting ready to marry Eric (Manny Jacinto), making her the soon-to-be stepmother of Lily (Sophia Hammons). Also involved in the swapping mishaps is Anna’s biological daughter Harper (Julia Butters).

Curtis and Lohan also discussed their two-decade-long friendship, starting all the way back in 2003, with Curtis saying that she trusts Lohan, knowing that, “if I tell her something, it’s gonna stay with her. We’ve both been through hard things, ’cause we’re alive and life is hard. And we’re not dead yet. So the truth of our experience together, it belies all of the kind of showbizzy stuff. We connected, and we really stayed connected. And that is special and rare for me.” Lohan then returned the sentiment, saying that she feels safe around Curtis, which is a very important thing to her in life.
