Halloween Horror Nights will be here before we know it, and if you can’t tell, we cannot wait! We’ll be there on opening night to see all of the new Haunted Houses, trying the new eats, and telling you our full thoughts. In the meantime, we’re waiting to see the full list of houses for this year’s event at Universal Orlando, and there’s a new announcement!
Universal just revealed that a new house, Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters, is coming to Halloween Horror Nights in 2025!
The description for this house gives the biggest horror fans a scare: “In this Old West town, all hell is breaking loose. Red-hot lava demons are trying to possess everyone, melting everything in their path.” Yikes.
This is a brand-new original house concept for this year’s event. Universal also recently revealed its first original house of the season — El Artista: A Spanish Haunting. We may or may not already be suffering from nightmares from this house…
Looking forward to seeing some familiar IP at the event? This year, you can experience Fallout, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and Jason Universe houses!
Tickets are on sale now starting at $83! The events run on select nights between August 29th and November 2nd, 2025. You can also purchase add-ons right now, including Express Pass, which gives you an expedited wait time at the houses, and special tours.
Is Halloween Horror Nights not your thing, but you still want to experience something during spooky season at Universal? Dark Universe, which is a portal in the brand-new Epic Universe theme park, is all about classic Universal Monsters. You can eat at Das Stakehaus, visit Frankenstein’s Monster, and ride Monsters Unchained, which features some of our favorite animatronics to date. Oh, don’t forget to get your monster makeup done!
