Getting to and from the Orlando International Airport has become a bit more complex ever since Disney discontinued the Magical Express in January 2021.

While you can rent a car, order a rideshare, or take Mears Connect to Disney World from the airport, those options can be pricy. What if we told you that there is a way to get to and from the airport from Disney World for only $2?! There is a catch, but in the end, we think it is worth it.
There is a Lynx Route called Link311 that has direct service from the Orlando International Airport over to Disney Springs and back to the airport again when the end of your trip rolls around.Â

The bus comes every 30 minutes each day from 5 AM to 11 PM, which is a super convenient and cheap way to get to and from the airport. We did say that there was a catch: Disney has a strict no-luggage rule on its buses.Â

While Disney Springs does have busses that stop at all of the Disney World resorts, you won’t be able to take your luggage on board to get to your hotel once the Lynx bus drops you off. Of course, if you only have a backpack, feel free to hop on board a Disney bus and head to your hotel!

But let’s be honest: if you are traveling for an extended vacation to Disney World, the odds are you are going to have a suitcase with wheels, which is not allowed on Disney buses.Â

Don’t worry, there is a solution! Once the Lynx bus drops you off at Disney Springs, you can order a rideshare to take you to your hotel, which is much cheaper than ordering a rideshare from the airport. We know it can be a pain to have this extra step, but it can save you so much money!

Consider taking Lynx Link311 the next time you need to get to and from the Orlando International Airport to Disney World to help you save some extra cash. We will note that it might not save you time though as these trips can take quite a while.
