WARNING: Construction Is Starting at Disney's Pop Century Hotel Next Week

There are lots of Disney World debates including which restaurant is the best, or what the best souvenir is. But there is always lots of debate about which Disney World hotel is the best.

Pop Century

Many Disney World fans have their favorite, some love the luxury of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa while others enjoy the simple comforts of Disney’s Pop Century Resort.

Well, if you fall in the Pop Century group, we have some news to share with you. If you are headed to Disney World soon and your plans involve staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, you will want to keep reading!

Everything POP

We wrote previously that guests were receiving emails warning about construction coming to the resort’s food court. Now the Disney World website has also been updated to reflect this construction. Previously, we could not see dates or a warning on the website but now we can.

The Disney World website warns that Everything POP Food Court will be undergoing construction from July 29th through September 29th, 2024. However, even though construction will be going on, the food court will still remain open. They are asking that you utilize the mobile order option on the My Disney Experience app to order your food and drinks and be prepared that you may need to utilize alternate entrances.

The resort has not yet stated whether the same options will still be available, or if the food court will be operating with a more limited menu. The food court at All Star Movies recently began construction as of July 1st and was only offering a limited menu during the construction.

Everything POP Food Court

The construction at Everything POP Food Court is expected to last much longer than the All Star Movies Food Court. The All Star Movies Food Court construction is only expected to last until July 31st, while Everything POP Food Court is expected to last until September 29th.

Pop Century Resort

So far the only warning about the Everything POP Food Court is that you should use mobile order, you may need to utilize an alternate entrance, and dining room seating may be limited. There has not been any mention so far that the food court will be offering a limited menu.
