An EXCLUSIVE New Disney World Lounge Is Open NOW!

OK, if you’ve been to Disney World more than once over the past few years, you’ve probably dreamt about investing in the Disney Vacation Club. It’s pretty tempting, right? Well, whether you’re a current DVC member or a potential new applicant, there’s something in Disney Springs you might want to check out.

We went inside the “Gateway to Discovery” building in Disney Springs for a full tour of the new Disney Vacation Club lounge and Welcome Home Center. Wanna see?

The Gateway to Discovery building is located next to the centrally located Disney Springs Welcome Center in the Town Center.

Gateway to Discovery is OPEN!

First, we need to talk about the new Disney Vacation Club member lounge. It’s open until 7:30PM, and if you’re not a current DVC member, you can still visit and speak to a Cast Member. Non-members will even get the chance to tour a Deluxe Studio and One-bedroom room model of Disney’s Riviera Resort!

Now, back to the lounge. Disney added a Member Services section of the lounge for those with questions about their Disney Vacation Club membership or those who want to review the latest promotions.

It’s a nice place to take a break

Either way, it’s a nice little spot to soak in some cool air conditioning, escape the rain, or just enjoy a quiet, comfortable place in Disney Springs!

There’s a TV in here, too!

That said, the main purpose of this building is to promote the Disney Vacation Club, so expect to see some prospective buyers here, too.

Inside

If you’re interested in learning more about Disney Vacation Club, this is the place to go. Once you enter the main preview center, you will check in with a Cast Member, and they will take you to an elevator that brings you up to Disney’s Riviera Resort models. Ta-da! It’s like we teleported from Disney Springs to the Riviera, right?

There’s a model room in here, too!

Note that no food or drink is allowed in these studio and one-bedroom model rooms. They’re just for show!

The Cast Members here are super knowledgeable about Disney Vacation Club, so feel free to ask them anything you want to know!
