DATE Announced for NEW 100th Anniversary Experiences Coming to EPCOT

If you’ve been to EPCOT lately, then you know there’s a lot going on.

The park is in the middle of a huge transformation with new attractions, new restaurants, new shows, and new experiences on the way. But that’s not all! Soon EPCOT will be home to the 100th anniversary celebrations in Disney World and we just learned even more about it!

Mark your calendars! From September 22nd-December 31st, the 100th anniversary celebrations will take place in EPCOT. There are a lot of exciting things coming to the park, so let’s check it out!

We’ve seen Disney100 signs pop up in all four parks and Disney Springs, but Disney announced that a platinum Mickey Mouse statue will be coming to the sign in EPCOT. At this photo op, you’ll be able to take photos with the Disney100 sign and Spaceship Earth in the background.

This looks similar to the Mickey statue currently at Disneyland.

Disney also announced an all-new mural coming to World Celebration that will feature tons of Disney characters. If you love hunting for hidden details in Disney World, you’ll want to check this out. It will be located along the walkway to World Showcase and the rest of World Celebration will be covered in platinum Disney100 decor.

Disney had previously announced that Mickey and Minnie would be meeting in their platinum outfits…but now we know where! Meet this iconic duo over at the Imagination pavilion. Currently, you can meet Joy and Vanellope in this pavilion.

We also already knew about a special Spaceship Earth show at night, but Disney announced that it will be accompanied by a unique rendition of “When You Wish Upon a Star” as the Disney100 anthem.

EPCOT recently made some Food & Wine Festival announcements including some booths opening later in the festival. Now we know that these 100th anniversary booths will open on September 22nd — check out the menus here! There will also be special 100th anniversary food and drinks at the 2023 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays.

And last but not least, Disney announced that the Mickey Balloon Premium Popcorn Bucket will be available ONLY at EPCOT during the 100th anniversary celebrations. This bucket was seen earlier this year at Disneyland, so if you want to get your hands on one on the east coast, head to EPCOT!
