Sure, the Disney World parks are fun to visit, but the Disney World hotels are stars on their own!

Disney World has many different hotels of different themes and levels and we recommend resort hopping so you can visit a bunch of them. However, it’s going be harder to visit Disney resorts you aren’t staying at this holiday season.
It’s no surprise that Disney World is busy during this time of year — Christmas is this weekend and 2023 is just around the corner. Since there are SO many people visiting the parks and staying at the hotels, Disney is cracking down on who can park at hotels.

We spoke with a Disney World Cast Member that said “hotels will restrict guest parking availability effective today.” As of December 20th, you will only be able to park at a Disney World hotel if you show a resort stay confirmation or a confirmed dining reservation.

Sometimes guests are able to park if they want to eat at a quick-service location or if they have placed a Mobile Order, but during this time of year that is not permitted.
There are other ways to visit Disney World hotels if you are parked at one of the theme parks. All 4 theme parks have buses to each Disney hotel, the Skyliner connects EPCOT and Hollywood Studios to several hotels and the Monorail resorts can be reached from Magic Kingdom or EPCOT.

Stay tuned for more updates from Disney World this holiday season!

Parking is always at a premium everywhere this time of year. Try finding a space at any store or shopping mall.
This is stupid ridiculous. Every hotel on the Disney property has more than enough parking. We wanted to go into the Poly for shopping and lunch and we were turned away. Ok, we won’t spend money at any hotel. We have been to Disney World so many times, I’ve lost count. We spent our honeymoon at the Poly. But no more. We have had it with Disney World.
