FULL LIST of Character Dining Restaurants that Are Back to “Normal” in Disney World

Traditional character meet & greets are finally back in Disney World! Does that mean that character dining is returning to “normal” as well?

They’re BACK!

Starting today, you can hug many of your favorite friends in the Disney parks, including the princesses, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and more! When Disney announced that these meet-and-greets would return to normal, they also hinted that character dining could go back to how it was before the 2020 changes as well. To make sure you’re prepared for your upcoming trip, we’re going through all of the character dining that’s back to “normal” in Disney World!

Let’s jump right into it! Here are all of the Disney World restaurants that have returned to “normal” character dining:

Chef Mickey’s

Over at Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, you can dine with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, and Goofy! This spot has returned to non-distanced character interactions, with the characters coming up to the tables, signing autographs, and taking pictures with guests.

We’re so happy to see traditional meet and greets return to Disney World!

We ate here today, and we were so excited to hug Donald again! We also received an autograph card as part of our experience, but you can ask the characters to sign autographs when they come by your table as well.

Hollywood & Vine

Over at Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can meet Minnie Mouse and friends. This spot is known for seasonal character dining as well, with special events for spring, summer, Halloween, and holiday time!

A Cast Member informed us that dining here has returned to pre-2020 normal, with close-up character interactions.

Tusker House

If you’re at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can dine with Donald, Goofy, Daisy, and Mickey at Tusker House!

There’s Daisy!

This spot was one of the first to have closer character interactions, and now they’ve returned to traditional character dining completely. You can take close-up pictures, ask for autographs, and hug your friends!

Artist Point

Character dining at Artist Point (at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge) has returned to normal as well!

Snow White

At this spot, you can eat with Snow White, the Evil Queen, and a few of the 7 Dwarfs.

Topolino’s Terrace

Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort has returned to normal character dining for breakfast!

Mickey at Topolino’s Terrace!

This is where you can meet Mickey as a painter, Minnie as a poet, Daisy as a dancer, and Donald as a sculptor.

Garden Grill

If you’re in EPCOT, you can dine with Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale at Garden Grill.

Previously, the characters stayed in the inner circle of this dining room with guests seated on the outside. But now character interactions have returned to normal!

So what’s left?

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Magic Kingdom has Cinderella’s Royal Table, a popular dining spot where you can meet Cinderella, of course! This spot has NOT returned to close-up character encounters. Cinderella still remains by the entrance to the restaurant, and guests can only say hello before their meal.

Previously, Cinderella and other princesses would wander the dining room during the meal and greet the guests up-close.

Note that Crystal Palace and ‘Ohana currently do not have character dining at all. We’ll be sure to let you know when characters return to these restaurants!
