Mask Mandate in Disneyland

Earlier today, a Florida judge ruling struck down the national mask mandate that was recently extended, which has had further impacts on what is currently required on public transportation.

According to the Associated Press, a “federal judge in Florida has voided the national mask mandate,” which applies to airplanes and other forms of public transportation. The judge has reportedly struck down the mask mandate as “exceeding the authority of U.S. health officials” when it comes to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a press conference, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said, “the administration is reviewing the court’s ruling and the Justice Department will determine whether it will appeal.”

While the mandate will be ending, according to White House officials, the CDC still recommends that people wear masks on public transport.
