How to Celebrate National Irish Coffee Day in Disney World

Disney loves to celebrate food-related special occasions. There’s everything from National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day to National Donut Day to Ice Cream Day.

And we won’t lie — these are some of our favorite holidays, because, hello? FOOD! But did you know there is also a National Irish Coffee Day on January 25th? And in case you’re not familiar with Irish Coffee, it’s coffee, but WITH WHISKEY. And if you’ll be in Disney World during this special day, one restaurant has a special offer for you!

Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant at Disney Springs will be celebrating National Irish Coffee Day with a special offer for guests who order an Irish Coffee on that day: just pay for the coffee and the whiskey IN the coffee is on the house!

“If coffee and whiskey both deserve their own holiday, then Irish Coffee deserves a bigger one,” said Raglan Road Director of Operations Sean Griffin in a statement. “Alex Levine put it best when he said, ‘Only Irish coffee provides in a single glass all four essential food groups: alcohol, caffeine, sugar, and fat.” (Okay, we can get behind this line of thinking!)

Raglan Road currently offers three Irish coffee concoctions: Traditional Irish (coffee, whiskey, sugar, and cream), Iced Irish (Bailey’s Salted Caramel with iced coffee, Paddy’s Irish Whiskey, and butterscotch schnapps topped with whipped cream), and Irish Espresso Martini (Slane Irish Whiskey, Miami club coffee liqueur, Guinness simple syrup, and fresh espresso). And you can enjoy Raglan Road’s traditional Irish live music and dancing while you’re celebrating, too!
