The BEST New Treats of 2022 Are Coming to…Disney's Typhoon Lagoon?

After an incredibly long closure, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is FINALLY reopening on January 2nd!

The water park is home to some fan-favorite rides and attractions, but what about the FOOD? Well, today Disney shared an update on the treats coming back to the park…as well as some new ones for the 50th Anniversary.

Let’s start with the Snack Shack, where you’ll be able to enjoy a variety of Dole Whip treats! Disney notes that “In addition to two Moana-inspired DOLE Whip character cones, guests can tantalize their taste buds by building their own tropical flavor combination with their choice of mango, lime, raspberry, or pineapple DOLE Whip.” That’s a lot of flavors!

If you’re a grown-up, you can level up those treats by mixing in tequila, coconut rum, or dark rum. You’ll also find the Habanero Lime Galley Shack Swirl here, which is a new signature cocktail serving “spicy habanero, sweet mango, and tangy lime flavors.”

And we can’t forget about those 50th Anniversary treats! Here’s what you can find around the park, per Disney:

Walt’s Chili Nachos (Snack Shack) — Features house-fried tortillas, cheese, guacamole, shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, sour cream, and jalapeño.
EARidescent Ice Dream Cone (Happy Landings) – Birthday cake-flavored soft-serve swirl in a white chocolate-dipped cone topped with EARidescent sprinkles.
Walt Disney World Popcorn Bucket (Main Change) – Features illustrations of iconic Walt Disney World landmarks along with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their 50^thcelebration costumes.
50^th Anniversary Refillable Mug – Available at all dining locations and features celebratory Disney Water Parks-inspired artwork that pays tribute to “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”
