Getting to and from Disney World is about to change in a big way in 2022! Disney’s Magical Express will officially suspend its service at the end of 2021, which means guests flying into Orlando International Airport will need a new method of ground transportation to get to their Disney World Resort hotel.

Many guests may consider signing up for Mears Connect, one of two bus services currently slated to replace Magical Express starting in January.
Mears Connect will offer guests two options when traveling from the airport to your hotel: Standard Service, which includes bus transportation, and Premium Service, which includes a smaller passenger van. Today, we got a first look at one of the buses that will be used by Mears!

The service doesn’t launch until the end of the year, but it was exciting to catch a glimpse at one of the buses.

The design on this bus includes a colorful sea turtle, but we wondered if other buses would have different animals or designs included on the side!

One of the big differences between Mears Connect and Disney’s Magical Express is that you won’t be the only ones riding on the buses: your luggage will be joining you, too! Unlike Magical Express, guests must collect their bags at baggage claim in Orlando Airport before boarding.

Not like there is a lot of choice now that Magical Express is stopping…abolishing g yet another benefit for Disney guests….get rid of this new guy who keeps slashing anything and everything and forcing people to pay more for a Disney vacation while cutting out the things that made it possible for families to do this.
I wonder what will happen to all the Disney Magical Express buses.
If they stop at a grocery store on the way, so I can loadup on reasonably priced snacks and drinks, then yes !
Chicken nuggets and frenchfries get old really fast.
I have already booked Mears Connect for a January trip.
