NEWS: Legoland California Shares Opening Date For Lego Movie World!

California Theme Parks have been able to reopen under new health and safety guidelines as of April 1st.

While Disneyland Resort has a few more days before officially reopening to guests, California’s Legoland Theme Park and Hotels reopened a few weeks ago on April 15th. And, if being back in the park wasn’t enough to keep you excited, we now know when the newest land will be opening in the park.

According to Attractions Magazine, the brand new Lego Movie World will open in the Legoland California Resort this summer on May 27th. The new land will drop guests into the of Bricksburg from The Lego Movie and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part to explore the characters and scenes from the movies.

Once open, the land will feature six new attractions, including rides that immerse guests in the middle of the movies like Benny’s Play Ship, Queen Watevra’s Carousel, and Unkitty’s Disco Drop. There will also be a Build Watevra You Wa’Na Build zone, new dining locations, and you’ll be able to meet characters from the film.

Emmet’s Flying Adventure will be another new ride in the land, where guests will follow Emmet during a race against his friends while sitting in his triple-decker flying couch.

The new land will open in just one month on May 27th and you’ll be able to explore the area with any Legoland California admission ticket. But, do keep in mind that Legoland California is using an online reservation system, so be sure you have the day booked before heading to the park!
