Last year, all eyes were on Disney World as the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex hosted the conclusion of the NBA season, also known as the “NBA Bubble,” as well as the conclusion of the 2021 MLS season.
2021 is shaping up to be another year full of sporting events taking place at Disney World. We already shared that the NBA’s minor league would play its 2021 season at the Wide World of Sports Complex.
Back in December, Disney announced that the Department of Defense 2021 Warrior Games will be held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Now, we can share that the dates the games will take place will be from September 12th through 22nd, 2021.
The Warrior Games host hundreds of veterans and active duty officers from the United States Armed Forces along with ally nations who are wounded, ill, or injured to compete in events including wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, indoor rowing, cycling, and more.
