This week marks the release of the live-action Mulan remake, which will be available on Disney+ on September 4th. The film will cost an additional $29.99 for subscribers, but it will land on Disney+ for free in December for those willing to wait.

We’ve already seen a lot of new merchandise related to the live-action Mulan in Disney Parks and online. There’s even been a brand new Colourpop makeup collection devoted to Mulan. But now, there’s one more item that has recently been added to the list.
We discovered this new children’s book at shopDisney. A Place for Mulan Book – Live Action Film promises to tell an all-new story based on the Mulan live-action movie.

A Place for Mulan was written by Marie Chow and illustrated by Jasper Shaw and is appropriate for children ranging in ages from 6-8. The cover suggests that the story revolves around Mulan’s childhood.
This book should appeal to younger Mulan fans, and provide some interesting backstory for the character! You can pick it up now on shopDisney for $16.99.
Will your child be reading this book? Let us know in the comments.
