Since Disney World will be reopening July 11th and July 15th with Disneyland following with a proposed July 17th reopening date, there’s a lot of questions about what the new theme park reservation system will look like.

Although Disney hasn’t released to many details on the reservation system yet, the U.S. Disney Parks may be actually taking some notes from Shanghai Disneyland’s reopening.

According to Shanghai Disneyland’s website, Annual Passholders will have their passes extended through the park closures. But, they will also have their passes extended through the amount of time a guest has to wait to make reservations through their new theme park reservation system and use it.

Although both Disney World and Disneyland have stated that they will extend Annual Passes through the park closures, there hasn’t been an update yet regarding the new theme park reservation system.

However, as Disney slowly starts to reveal more information about how new reservations will be able to be made for the parks, resorts, dining, and more, passes may also be extended to reflect this like Shanghai Disneyland.
