Seven Unique Ways to Celebrate the Holidays at Disney Springs

The holidays are truly a magical time at Walt Disney World, and with the season comes a host of limited-time opportunities you can only get once a year!

Of course, you can hit Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom or head to Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays, but Disney Springs is offering up many ways to celebrate the holidays, no theme park ticket required!

We’ve compiled a list of the most unique ways to celebrate the holidays at Disney Springs!

Holiday Menus

Select Walt Disney World restaurants get extra festive during the season with specialty menu items to help you celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year. Many restaurants will be offering a Thanksgiving menu, while Paddlefish, Raglan Road, and Terralina Crafted Italian have already released their Christmas Day Menus.

12 Beers of Christmas

Iron Chef Morimoto will return with his popular event, The 12 Beers of Christmas, at Morimoto Asia. This event is your opportunity to meet the chef himself while dining from 12 pan-Asian inspired food stations and sampling local craft beers. This 21+ event will be taking place on Sunday, December 8th from 11:30AM to 3:30PM.

Christmas Tree Trail

The ever popular Christmas Tree Trail has returned this year! Shine merry and bright as you explore the endless photo opps and over 20 themed trees. Santa Claus will be there in addition to festive snacks, a rockin’ holiday soundtrack, and even faux snow!

Design An Ornament

Design your own customizable ornament at the Art Corner. This fun, hands-on experience allows you to imagine yourself or your pet on a caricature ornament. This option is priced at $40.00 per person.

Feeling creative? Personally design a custom marble ornament while an expert artisan guides you. This experience is $29.00 for three ornaments.

Specialty Snacks at The Ganachery

The Ganachery is offering three new Frozen 2 snacks just in time for the holiday season. Starting November 15, the seasonally inspired treats include: a Chocolate Olaf filled with pumpkin spice marshmallows, a Chocolate Ganache Pop, and Pumpkin Spice Ganache Squares.

Go Retro!

Make your list, and then check it twice! There’s a whole new collection of retro-inspired merch at Disney’s Days of Christmas shop! Treat yourself (or someone else!) to a holiday cheer tumbler or other fun flashback merch pieces!

Meet Santa!

And finally, would it even be the holidays without a stop at the Santa Chalet at Disney Springs to meet the MAN himself? From November 8 to December 24, you can mingle and jingle with Santa Claus.

They’ve created a super simple system where you can check-in then receive a text notification when it’s your time. This process allows you to enjoy all the decor, shopping, food, and drinks that Disney Springs has to offer instead of standing in line for Santa. Click here to read all about it!
