Starting next month, Disney Parks around the world will be celebrating the 90th anniversary of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse with a number of special surprises and events.
Today the Disney Parks Blog gave us our first look at the festive apparel Mickey and Minnie will wear for the celebrations at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disney Resort and Disney Cruise Line.
The new outfits will reflect the party spirit of the celebration, with bursts of color set against a pure white background. A smart, white suit dotted with multicolor confetti will set Mickey apart. Minnie’s dress will echo Mickey’s multicolored suit, with short, puffy sleeves, colorful pompons and a bubble skirt.
The duo will sport their new attire in the “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party,” that will kick off Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration at Magic Kingdom on January 18. Even though it’s a limited-time celebration, it will include new entertainment, merchandise and lots of specialty food and beverage.
The celebratory outfits will also be featured at:
- Hong Kong Disneyland beginning November 18
- Shanghai Disneyland on November 18 only
- Disneyland Resort beginning January 2019
- Disney Cruise Line summer 2019
