You know, the ones that feel like a warm hug after a long day of walking around the parks. For a lot of Disney fans, that place is Via Napoli in EPCOT, and based on the reviews we’ve been getting, people are seriously passionate about this Italian restaurant. Let’s talk about why this spot has such a loyal following.
“I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed.”
First up, we have disneydiner who gave Via Napoli a perfect 10 out of 10 stars and shared,
“Dined here twice during my October vacation!”

They went on to rave about their experience in the pros section:
“My first day’s carciofi pizza was so good, as usual. Lots of artichokes. Great drinks and good service. My last day’s shrimp fettuccini was creamy and delicious. I love ending my meals here with a cappucino. The cast members here are always so nice and happy to talk about ‘home’ and working at Disney. I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed.”

And the cons? “None.” When someone visits a restaurant twice during the same vacation and still walks away completely satisfied, you know it’s the real deal. The fact that they’ve been multiple times over the years and have never had a bad experience speaks volumes about the consistency at Via Napoli.

If there’s one thing that came up again and again in our reviews, it’s the pizza. And honestly, when you’ve got wood-fired ovens imported from Italy and pizzaiolos who know what they’re doing, that’s kind of a given.

Scott88513 gave Via Napoli a 9 out of 10 and said,
“Every time me and my family go to Epcot we always go to via Napoli we love the pizza and the chicken parm is also very good.”
They listed their pros:
“Great place to get out of the florida weather the best pizza on disney property and great service.”

“The con is this place is not very adventurous.”
Fair point on that last one. Via Napoli isn’t trying to reinvent Italian food or throw unexpected twists at you. But sometimes, you don’t want adventure. Sometimes, you just want really, really good pizza.
More than just pizza
While the pizza gets most of the attention, other menu items are holding their own, too. Sreynolds5 gave the restaurant a perfect 10 out of 10 and shared,
“So glad I made a reservation here! Our family enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, & the friendly wait staff. Such a nice break from the crowded park. Our favorite dishes: Arrancini(fried risotto balls) & Quattro Formaggi pizza. We felt that the prices were a little more reasonable than some of the other sit down restaurants in Epcot.”

Cons? “None.” That comment about it being a nice break from the crowded park really hits home. When you’re at EPCOT, especially during peak times, finding a calm, air-conditioned spot where you can actually sit down and enjoy a proper meal feels like a luxury. And if that meal happens to include fried risotto balls and four-cheese pizza? Even better.

This used to be our must go to restaurant. Sadly for us, the last three times we went our service was exceptionally bad. We were forgotten in the queue/lobby after checking in one time where the hostess never even surveyed the lobby to keep an eye on her domaine — it was extremely obvious we were still waiting there because the lobby area emptied out twice with us just remaining. And two other times our food came out at significantly different times for each of us eating. There were no apologies, updates, or anything. We said something politely, but they just nodded. Ugh. We’re not raise-a-stink complainers, but this did make us drop them from our choice list (and warn away many of our friends) which is just sad because the pizza was good.
