MASSIVE REVIEW: EVERY Snack We Tried at the 2025 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom

Happy Holidays from Magic Kingdom! While we’re weeks away from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the time has come to celebrate Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which means the holiday season has totally begun in the parks.

Who’s ready for some great treats!

During the party, you can ride some of your favorite attractions at lower waits, watch some of the best entertainment you can find during this time of year (many that are ONLY available during the party!), as well as try tons of snacks and drinks that are unique to the event. We just went to the very FIRST event of the year and tried all the party-exclusive snacks — we’ve got a FULL list of reviews to help you plan which ones are worth stopping for on your upcoming trip!

Main Street, U.S.A.

Main Street Bakery

Here you can grab the Christmas Wreath Cupcake for $6.99, which is a Peppermint confetti cupcake filled with chocolate ganache and topped with marshmallow buttercream and chocolate décor.

Christmas Wreath Cupcake

The base cupcake mostly tasted like a funfetti cupcake with a hint of peppermint flavor, and there was a teeny tiny bit of chocolate ganache in the middle, which was fudgy and rich, but there was so little of it. The buttercream on top was fluffy and creamy, and reminded us a lot of marshmallow whip, but a bit sweeter and with more butter flavor.

Cute, but not super special!

It’s definitely a cute-looking cupcake, but we wouldn’t say it was anything super special that you need to grab at the party. There are so many other options that are more unique, so unless you’re really craving a cupcake, we’d say skip it.

Plaza Ice Cream Parlor

The Santa Hat Brownie Sundae is available for $7.99, which is a Brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, crushed peppermint, whipped cream, and a red velvet cone with a marshmallow pompom.

Santa Hat Brownie Sundae

The peppermint taste is notable here, but it’s not too strong, which we enjoyed. The brownie itself is fudgy, thick, and rich, and we loved the chocolate sauce on top, even though it was pretty masked by the ice cream (which held its form very well).

It’s a great, safe bet!

The peppermint shavings on top gave it a great crunch, and again, it tasted minty, but wasn’t overwhelming. While the cone is supposed to be flavored to red velvet, it wasn’t very obvious. Overall, we think it’s cute, fun, family-friendly, and it’s a good choice if you want something safe.

Casey’s Corner

You can grab the Holiday Pot Roast Mini Corn Dogs for $14.79, and these are topped with pot roast, beer-cheese sauce, crispy onions, and horseradish mustard.

Holiday Pot Roast Mini Corn Dogs

We DEVOURED these, because they were delicious! It’s classic Casey’s corn dog nugs, but the beer cheese is like your regular cheese sauce here, with that beer tang to it, making it very yummy, creamy, and cheesy. The horseradish sauce is great, as it’s creamy with a good amount of horseradish flavor without being crazy spicy or overpowering. The meat is super tender, and there is a decent amount of it on here, and we fully recommend this for those who enjoy savory dishes and know this is a flavor profile they’ll enjoy!

We’re big fans!

Also available are the Holiday Pot Roast Loaded French Fries for $8.29, which are topped with pot roast, beer-cheese sauce, crispy onions, and horseradish mustard.

Holiday Pot Roast Loaded French Fries

These have the same ingredients as the corn dog nuggets, but they just didn’t hit the same for us. The toppings made the fries super soggy and just hard to eat, and we especially think ours were sitting for a while because the bottom of the container was very soggy. The corn dogs hold the toppings better in our opinion, so if you’re debating between the two, go with those!

Adventureland

Aloha Isle

Here you can grab the Pomegranate Yule Float for $7.79. This is Ginger ale with DOLE Whip Pomegranate and vanilla soft-serve, pomegranate boba pearls, and a slice of lime (Non-alcoholic).

Pomegranate Yule Float

If you’ve ever had a cherry limeade but really like the taste of fresh pomegranate and lime with a hint of vanilla swirl, this is absolutely going to be for you! We loved the ginger ale taste it had to it, and the vanilla soft serve had a fantastic bubble effect at the top, not to mention the pomegranate boba popping pearls at the bottom. Divine!

This was fantastic!

It almost reminded us of a champagne without the alcohol, and while it gave us a little more New Year’s vibes than Christmas, we’re not complaining!

Spring Roll Cart

During Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, we loved the Pastrami Reuben Spring Rolls served with thousand island sauce . Well, they’re back as a party exclusive. But something about these were different. Now the spring rolls were nice and crispy. There’s a nice layer of cheese inside and lots of pastrami. The thousand island adds a creamy and acidic element. These are basically like eating a Reuben sandwich as an egg roll.

Frontierland

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe

The “Christmas-style” Chicken Tamale for $12.99 comes with With Mild Red Chile Sauce and Pumpkin Seed Salsa Verde, Cilantro Rice, Pinto Beans, and Queso Fresco. We’ll warn you now. The chicken in the tamale has very little flavor. The rest of the flavors, like the chile sauce and the salsa verde, are nice, but they can’t do much about the poorly-seasoned chicken. The chicken is still tender, and there’s a lot of it, but it just needs more.

“Christmas Style” Chicken Tamale

The Arroz Con Leche Wreath is available for $5.79, which includes Rice pudding mousse, citrus chutney, coconut whipped cream, and a chocolate bow.

Arroz Con Leche Wreath

This was a really interesting dessert! It was exactly what you would expect from a rice pudding mousse — the rice was tender and a bit chewy, and it was mixed in a fluffy mousse. In the middle of the wreath, there was some citrus chutney and dulce de leche, which added a great sweetness to the dessert. The crust on the bottom was almost like a graham cracker crust, but we think it might have been like puffed rice. This is definitely a more unique dessert and great for fans of rice pudding!

We were big fans!

You can also grab the Mexican Hot Chocolate Mini Churros tossed with Hot Cocoa by Joffrey’s Powder, cinnamon, and warm spices served with sprinkles and marshmallow fluff dip for $6.49.

Mexican Hot Chocolate Mini Churros

We were really excited for these, but they were just alright. The cocoa powder and spices on the churros weren’t as prominent as we were hoping. You could mostly taste the cocoa flavor with only a hint of cinnamon. The churros were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, but definitely not freshly made. The marshmallow fluff tasted how it should, while being sweet and sticky, but it was a bit hard to dip the churros into it, as it was thicker. We did appreciate the thicker consistency, though!

They weren’t bad, but weren’t the best

You can also grab the Frozen Hot Cocoa for $6.79 here, which is a Frozen Hot Cocoa by Joffrey’s with toasted marshmallow syrup topped with chocolate sauce, marshmallows, and festive sprinkles (Non-alcoholic). If you love Joffrey’s regular Hot Cocoa, you’ll love this, too. It’s basically that, but frozen with those crunchy dehydrated marshmallows on top. It’s perfectly chocolatey and satisfies that hot cocoa urge when it’s hot out.

Frozen Hot Cocoa

Golden Oak Outpost

You’ll want to hop on over to Golden Oak Outpost to grab the Yuletide Chicken Strips for $12.99. These are Crispy Chicken Strips with Sage Butter and Cranberry Barbecue Glaze served with Sweet Potato Fries. And when they say crispy, they mean it. We got them fresh and they had such a nice crunch. The sage butter also adds a lovely flavor, along with the sweetness of the cranberry barbecue glaze.

Storybook Treats

Here you can snag the Reindeer Sundae for $7.79. This is Chocolate soft-serve topped with caramel sauce, pretzels, chocolate, and peanut butter-dusted rice cereal, and a reindeer chocolate piece.

Reindeer Sundae

We have never seen something melt so fast. However, before he melted, this didn’t look anything like the photo. This is basically a ton of chocolate soft serve, and while we enjoyed the toppings on it, the pretzels were our favorite, and unfortunately, there just weren’t enough of them for us.

Poor reindeer

The cereal toppings just made us feel like we were eating a bowl of cereal since the ice cream melted so fast that it was almost like milk. This was crazy messy, too, so we really feel the need to point that out. We wish it had been layered with more toppings, since you quickly run out of toppings the way it is now, and then you’re just left with…chocolate soup.

The Friar’s Nook

There are multiple snacks available at this location, starting with the Jalapeño Popper Tots for $10.49, which are topped with jalapeño cream cheese sauce, bacon, cheddar, and a jalapeño popper.

Jalapeño Popper Tots

From a heat perspective, these things aren’t playing. These actually have some heat to them, which is from all the seeds in the fresh jalapeños, as well as the seeds in the cheese sauce! It’s spicy in a delicious way and not a ruin-your-day way, and our portion had great ratios. Our only complaint is that we wish there were a bit more of the actual cheese, and the jalapeno popper garnish wasn’t the best. It felt like it was frozen and had a gross, bready texture and indistinguishable flavor. We recommend putting it off to the side and digging into the tots.

Dig into the tots and forget the garnish!

You can also grab the Spinach Artichoke Hand Pie for $8.99, which is a Flaky hand pie filled with cheesy spinach and artichoke dip and drizzled with red pepper sauce.

Spinach Artichoke Hand Pie

This looked pretty rough when we first looked at it, but it impressed us with the filling! While the filling was less creamy than a full spinach artichoke dip, it really let both the spinach and the artichoke shine. Texturally, the two were super tender and made for a nice experience with the crispy pie — the crust was on the thin side and a bit tough, but it held up well despite all the sauce (which was incredible). It was certainly tasty, so if you were looking for something savory with a bit of heat, this might be a great choice!

This impressed us!

The Pig in a Blanket is also available, which is a Parmesan puff pastry-wrapped all-beef hot dog, crispy onions, and honey mustard barbecue sauce served with tots for $12.99.

Pig in a Blanket

This is very picky-eater-friendly because it truly tastes like classic pigs in a blanket. That said, we didn’t get any honey mustard barbecue sauce with ours, so it felt a little incomplete. However, we’re not sure a honey mustard barbecue sauce is the right call here. We were wanting something a little more holiday or upscale for the party, like a garlic aioli or holiday chutney, but this was still a well-cooked, juicy hot dog that was a great portion.

This was pretty solid!

To drink, you can grab the Ugly Sweater Shake for $7.99, which is a Vanilla shake topped with whipped cream, festive sprinkles, peppermint-white chocolate sauce, and a chocolate piece (Non-alcoholic).

Ugly Sweater Shake

Unfortunately, this was really disappointing. It’s a vanilla milkshake, yes, but it’s made from vanilla soft serve, so it has that very fake vanilla taste. It’s good in soft serve, but only if you’re not paying a lot of attention. Here, it tasted like a sweeter vanilla frosty from Wendy’s.

We weren’t super impressed with this one

I think the apple caramel doesn’t add flavor at all and instead just ups the sweetness factor. However, the redeeming quality was the whipped cream with the cherry shell. Our reporter LOVES shell toppings, and it was so fun to have that here. It added a very nostalgic taste like we were getting a dipped cone at Dairy Queen, but it wasn’t enough to redeem the shake.

Pinocchio Village Haus

The Holiday Ravioli is available for $9.29, which is Fried breaded ravioli with marinara sauce, basil pesto, parmesan, and parsley.

Holiday Ravioli

These are HUGE raviolis, and we were shocked to see this for under $10. The outside of the ravioli was delicious, and stayed crispy despite the sauce, which was impressive. The cheese inside was drier, more like a ricotta, which we adored. We’d recommend this to anyone who forgot to eat before the party, because it’s nice and savory, and it was very filling!

We absolutely recommend these!

You can also snag the Snowflake Ornament for $5.79, which is Coconut-eggnog mousse in a white chocolate shell with sugar décor. We’re usually not overly impressed with Disney mousses, and this one falls into that same category. There wasn’t really a cake base here, and the shell on the outside is just blue, so the only real flavor here is the mild coconut. It’s adorable, don’t get us wrong, but we have a feeling a lot of people may be disappointed by it.

Snowflake Ornament

For your drink, you can grab the Brr-Raspberry Slushy for $6.79, which is a Fanta Blue Raspberry slushy with coconut cream, whipped cream, and sweet blue shredded coconut (Non-alcoholic).

Brr-Raspberry Slushy

This totally shocked us by how good it was! This will be a big hit with kids, even those who may be adverse to coconut, because we found that the flavor went very well with the blue raspberry. If you want something sweet and refreshing, then this is 100% a treat to grab!

Liberty Square

Sleepy Hollow Refreshments

The Peppermint Bark Funnel Cake is $9.79, which is topped with vanilla ice cream, peppermint and white chocolate sauces, M&M’S Milk Chocolate Candies Holiday Blend, whipped cream, crushed peppermint, and festive sprinkles.

Peppermint Bark Funnel Cake

This is just meh. It has more of a subtle peppermint flavor than an in-your-face flavor, especially because the ice cream overpowers it. We really liked the crunch and peppermint flavor from the crushed candy canes, but we wish there had been more of it. It’s not bad at all, but not the best in our eyes!

Liberty Square Market

Also available during the party is the Mickey Whoopie Pie for $6.79, which is a Chocolate cake sandwiched with Marshmallow-Mint Buttercream. However, this isn’t only available during the party — you can also grab it during the regular park day through January 3rd, 2026!

Mickey Whoopie Pie

If you’re a big chocolate and mint fan, we can’t recommend this one enough; however, we did enjoy that the mint flavor in the airy marshmallow filling was strong, but didn’t taste like toothpaste. The cake itself is soft, moist, and perfectly fluffy with a rich flavor that isn’t too sweet.

Beware of staining!

The one issue? This will TOTALLY stain your lips, teeth, hands — basically everything it touches, so we do NOT recommend planning to take cute photos after eating it, because you’ll be green like the Grinch.

Tomorrowland

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe

To grab a bite to eat, you can snag the Snow Cheese Chicken Strips for $12.99, which are dusted with a sweet-and-savory white cheddar powder served with a side of kimchi aïoli.

Snow Cheese Chicken Strips

If you think of cheddar cheese along the lines of white cheddar, we loved the slight bite it added to the chicken strips, but the kimchi aïoli really sets it off! It’s got a low heat to it, but as you continue eating, it has a sweetness. It’s thick, like garlic has been mixed into it, so we also totally recommend dipping your fries into it. Now the price is a little steep for these, but they are a more jazzed up version, so we’ll give them a pass!

The sauce was what really set it off!

The Cranberry Cider Punch is $5.79 and made with Cranberry juice, apple cider, and Sprite with sugared cranberries and a rosemary sprig (Non-alcoholic). This had some fantastic natural fruit flavors, and the fresh cranberries and rosemary sprig really brought things to the next level. This is overall just a really nice, holiday treat that’s not going to let you down, especially if you love cranberries and Sprite!

Cranberry Cider Punch

For dessert, you can also try the Buckle Up Mousse for $6.29, which is Gingerbread mousse, chocolate crémeux, and flourless chocolate cake with chocolate décor. First, we appreciated that the gingerbread flavor is subtle and doesn’t overpower the chocolate flavor, which is the predominant flavor. It’s a light, creamy mousse, too, with some crunchy pearls in it that add texture. The outside coating is like a crunchy mirror glaze instead of that gel-like stuff that these desserts often have surrounding them.

Buckle Up Mousse

Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies

Available at this location is the Milk and Cookies Shake for $9.49, which is a Vanilla shake with caramel, holiday cookies, and chocolate chip cookie dough topped with whipped cream and festive sprinkles (Non-alcoholic). This was divine — the very definition of milk and cookies! We loved that there were so many different cookies on top, including edible cookie dough. While it’s technically a vanilla shake, it gives us more of a buttery sugar cookie vibe in the best way. It’s a little expensive, that’s for sure, but it’s so delicious, you likely won’t care about that!

Milk and Cookies Shake

You can also get the Cherry Cordial Cold Brew for $6.29 during the party, but it’s also available during the day. It’s Joffrey’s Cold Brew Coffee topped with Cherry Whipped Cream, Chocolate Sauce, and Chocolate Curls. So it’s basically a regular Joffrey’s cold brew with extra toppings.

Cherry Cordial Cold Brew

If you want to get that cherry cordial flavor, you’ll want to mix the toppings into the rest of the drink. Once you do that, though, it’s actually a quite nice drink, although we often think Joffrey’s cold brew tends to be more bitter than other cold brews we’ve had.

AstroFizz

Over at the newest dining location in the park, you can grab the Cherry-White Chocolate Slushy for $6.79, which is Fanta Cherry served with a crackable white chocolate-coated cup with whipped cream, cherry gummy candy, and festive sprinkles (Non-alcoholic).

Cherry-White Chocolate Slushy

This didn’t convince us that white chocolate and cherry go together. While this treat is pretty fun to crack and see the red get exposed under the white chocolate, the flavors are not a great combination in our opinion. The cup is coated in white chocolate and then filled with Fanta cherry, and while the Fanta cherry is somewhat tart, it’s a very fake flavor.

After the crack!

The white chocolate coating is a bit waxy tasting, which we’re guessing is from what makes it harden so quickly. You could definitely eat the cherry icee separate from the white chocolate (although you will have a bit of cherry taste to the white chocolate no matter what), or perhaps you’ll find that you’ll love the combination. For us, though, we won’t be getting it again and don’t necessarily recommend it.

We’re not a big fan, but maybe you will be!
