Universal has had a pretty big year in 2025, and 2026 is gearing up to be even more exciting!

This year, they opened a brand-new theme park along with 3 new hotels, all while making major changes in their long stand parks. If you’re hoping to go to the parks with an annual pass, there’s some important information you need to know! That’s because sales have been temporarily suspended for 3-park passes.
Universal Orlando has temporarily suspended sales and renewals for all 3-Park Annual Pass options. Those passes include entrance to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay, the resort’s waterpark.

On the theme park’s website, they wrote, “Universal Volcano Bay is seasonally closed on select dates between October 2025 and February 2026. Additionally, Universal Volcano Bay will be closed for maintenance beginning October 26, 2026, with a current planned reopening on or before March 24, 2027. Our 3-Park Annual Passes are temporarily unavailable for purchase or renewal.”

This means only two park passes are available that will grant access to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. The sales and renewal pause does match with Volcano Bay’s upcoming seasonal hours (which are pretty reduced) and the park’s upcoming maintenance closure for roughly 6 months.

Volcano Bay has been seeing some pretty big changes, like the removal of their TapuTapu bands and virtual queue system. This was a major perk to the water park, and honestly, was one of our favorite things about the park.

This pause doesn’t impact current passholders’ renewal dates. At the time of writing, Epic Universe hasn’t been added to the annual pass offerings for Universal Studios Florida. Universal recently revealed tickets for Epic Universe in 2026 with ticket prices ranging from $139 to $199. They also introduced park-to-park tickets for Epic for the first time ever!

Park-to-park tickets allow you to visit more than one park per day, and you can go between Epic Universe, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida, and even Volcano Bay within the same day. Prices for these tickets start at $153 for adults and $150 for children ages 3-9. You can explore all of the new ticket information right here.

Our team is full of Universal Annual Passholders, so this change is a big one for us! We’re eager to see all of the changes coming to Universal Florida’s parks, and you can be sure we will keep you updated on every new tip, trick, and hack along the way.
